Game is unplayably broken and abandoned by the devs, do NOT buy this

My co-op gaming group were looking for something like this. We were excited to play, had a ton of fun with character creation but then we tried to get into a multiplayer lobby together. After literally an hour and 12 crashes (just from myself) we finally got into a lobby at the same time. This is when the real issues started to show. The game is water based. 1. Buy a boat 2. Get in the boat 3. Find monster 4. Get monsters' deets. 5. Profit. You can have two people in a boat at the same time. A rower and a passenger. The passenger is completely at the mercy of the rower as NEITHER of you can leave the boat unless you are at the dock you bought the boat from. However, if your boat clips onto anything solid, including random debris, coastlines, other peoples boats, a leaf....You will be unable to do anything except look around. 2 people, trapped on a boat with no ability to leave. Your only option at this point is to leave the lobby and restart it. Oh, and now you're back in the lobby-crash-repeat loop again DO NOT BUY, not even on sale. There is a lot of work to be done on this game and it doesn't appear to be happening anytime soon. A great idea, poorly executed.

this game has been a buggy mess since day one and they say they are happy with it. they need to fix this game before they add new content. the only thing spooky about this game is the bugs. im currently stuck in the rowboat in the middle of the lake for no reason. we can only turn left or right but can't row back to forth. it has gotten better since i played the first time but it still has so many bugs that it is literally unplayable. save your money till they properly fix this game.

This game is bad. Don't buy it. Really really really buggy and does not work! Tried playing multiplayer for 3 hrs and still couldnt get it to work. When we did get in the game, we were stuck in the ocean because the boat would not move. DO NOT BUY.

I'm so disappointed!! I got this game back when it first got released into early access. I love Nessie and to finally get something about the monster was a huge shock to my mind and I knew I HAD to get it and play...and that's where the problems started. The development team showed little to no care to this game nor to the real life community of people who honestly love Cryptids and, more importantly, Nessie herself. I would on occasion launch the game and each time I grew more and more disappointed. Rowing the boat is more a hassle than a mechanic, half the time the menu(s) get stuck on the screen so you can hardly see what you're doing, the task is so buggy that when you complete a task and open let's say, the map to set a way point, it gives you the task to put down a way point DESPITE ALREADY DOING THAT! I hope the devs just sell the rights to someone or some team that will actually make the game playable and enjoyable to not only Loch Ness Lovers, but to other groups of gamers who just want to play a potentially fun game! This game has so much potential, DONT WASTE IT! Im leaving with a No to recommending cause while it has potential, in its current form, watching paint dry is more enjoyable..

I have played this game for almost 3 hours and I haven't completed a single objective. The new Halloween update seemed to add more bugs than before. The game is barely playable why make the inventory so janky just let us carry all the items till you fix the game. The fishing rod dissapears and does not work half the time(also you can fish and reel in on land.) The thermometer does not work at all anymore since the update. The journal has outdated information in it. It rains in the van when it is raining outside. The map does not zoom out and is extremely frustrating to use.

The concepts that the creators are putting out is amazing, finding sea crypitds are getting the proof that everyone wants. What disappointing to me is the lack of fixing MAJOR BUG for the co-op side of things. Upon loading a co-op game, weather I or my SO host, we are either met with the game crashing or about 5 minutes of playtime before one of us glitches and crashes. The equipment shop will not fully exit causing a crash, the pause menu will stay on the screen after attempting to exit which will cause a crash, even trying to use the walkies will cause the game to crash. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, check my games files, etc. The game is unplayable for co-op and its a major reason I bought the game. Until these bugs have be addressed and fix I can't recommend this game which honestly sucks T_T

There has been no updates and the game is incredibly broken. Steam should refund this "early access" for anyone who bought it.

digga ihr scheiß fotzen, ich versuche seit 70 jahren diesen behinderten hut loszuwerden..... ES GEHT NICHT; WHAT THE SIGMA GYAT??????? Ich hatte die möglichkeit einen hut auszuwählen aber ICH KANN ES NICHT RÜCKGÄNGIG MACHEN??? HÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ IHRREID SCHLIMMER ALS RIOT GAMES WAS SOLL DAS??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?! bitte macht, dass der kack hut weg geht ich kann das alles nicht mehr. Ich wohne im 4. stock... lasst euch das eine Warnung sein. Ihr steht in meiner suicide note, wenn der hut nicht sofort entfernt wird.
