There has been no updates and the game is incredibly broken. Steam should refund this "early access" for anyone who bought it.

The game is very very bad
It is true that the game is incredibly buggy and has not reached its potential, but nevertheless, I had fun playing it.
This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks balls and nuts and ♥♥♥♥
I love the concept and was eager to see the developers make this game great. However upon playing the first time months ago, the bugs made it unplayable. I held out from returning in hopes they'd fix it. It's in an even worse state. At least I had items last time, I can't even buy a rowboat to make it out to sea without the game freezing.
I've played a couple of rounds and enjoyed my experience and the suspense of not knowing when Nessie will appear. But my main problem with the game is that the rowboat gets stuck quite easily onto and into everything making impossible to move after getting stuck, I do hope at one point even though it has been well over 2 years since this game has been updated, that this game will be updated to a more playable state.
Do not buy. This game is abandoned. The devs focused too much on making rowboat controls and forgot to make a compelling and functional reason to go in the boat at all. A few early bugs were fixed, but then development switched to adding cosmetic assets instead of the core gameplay updates. Now all efforts have ceased for years.
When I tried the game it was buggy, and I found that the controls didn't operate as I thought they should. I like the idea of going to Loch Ness and searching Nessie, but this game frustrated me out the gate with it's controls. Since it's 04/08/24, I don't think there will be any updates to this game, but I encourage the developers to explore this idea again.
