The man who started it all! This is an amazing insight to the creator of such amazing games, with very basic hardware in the 70s going onto the 80s. Jeff Minter. Love him or hate him, as a lot of ZZap! readers back in the day proved, you cannot ignore his prowess and amazing programming techniques. I used to love reading the reviews in Zzap back in the day, still do, and his interviews are always informative, funny and a joy to experience. With all this said, I was never a big Minter fan back in the day, but to see the passion and dedication of this man is nothing short of overwhelming! I tell a lie, I loved Sheep in Space, still do, where a sheep can be "bloated" after eating too much grass! Take a bow, Jeff. Love you.
Digital Eclipse Gold Master series <3
Probably one of the more unique entries in the Digital Eclipse Gold Master series. Interesting games from an interesting man.
A lovingly crafted trip down the memory lane of early home computer game development, rather glorious.
Beyond Awesome
Super interesting interactive documentary. Not the longest experience but a fantastic few hours.
Important part of gaming history!
40 years ... and I still cannot keep the Sheep safe in Space.
Come for Tempest 2000, stay for the uniquely weird and quirky other games as well as a decent documentary
A hippie/rockstar looking guy that got inspiration from listening to pink floyd in the dark and imagining "shapes". Ahem. I imagine that's not all that was going on there... :P
