Has a good hook and well paced up till mid-game but the end game is unsatisfying and extremely grindy. The crop system is not great. If you are given a rare fruit (or crop), be careful not to accidently sell it, give away or use it in an ingredient because you might not get it again to plant the crop until RNG favors you. The dungeons areas are unsatisfying, shallow and repetitive. Unlocking new 'areas' did not come with new monsters or even new loot. And why have upgrade levels for them if there's no difference to the experience? So I've upgraded every building feature and dungeon in 20 hours, and I have no clue what progresses the character stories. The routine and grind are getting boring.

I really liked playing this game, but i simply can't recommend this game. Early + Midgame are fun, BUT endgame is lacking all it's content. Some areas are simply unfinished and the developer does not seem to care about this project anymore. It's so sad, but in the end its only a grindfest and no real content. I had to grind through it since I thought the cute story would have an end. But there is a big nothing.... the story build up to have NO revelation or solution. + fun little game + the game loop is fun (up till midgame) - unfinished story - in the end: only grinding
I think I'm done playing. I feel like 40 hours is enough to make my mind up on this. I wanted to romance Zana, but the compliment/flirt option never came up. Not one time, in 40 hours. I've upgraded every building and bought the legendary upgrades as well. But I can't find river shards to save my life. I need three more to complete a candy box. That's basically the last thing I need. The only way to get them is to hope one of the hundreds of fish I catch or the shops miraculous update with it or the lottery has it and I actually receive it. In forty hours I have found eight of them - given that drop rate, I will have to spend fifteen more hours just to find the last shards. I'm waiting for one bug. I've caught 2500 bugs. When will I find the last one??? Who knows! I also really don't like the building restrictions, I'd rather decorate and place everyone's houses the way I like. This game is wasting my time at this point, and I'm not having fun playing.
Great game that you can literally play with one hand. Also I like how the days are used up with energy not time.
I let this game sit in my backlog because the pixel art style put me off, but after giving it a go, it's now among my top 3 farming/life sim games of all time. It has an incredibly satisfying game loop that constantly rewards you (motivating you to keep playing "just one more day!") while also feeling super cozy and zero stress because there's no time mechanic in the game. The game only moves forward when you take actions. The game starts small and you unlock more and more as you go, so you never feel overwhelmed. The NPCs are diverse and interesting to talk to, and you get to know them one by one as they slowly come to town, so again, you're not overwhelmed with trying to get to know everyone right away. No tedious inventory management. Complete terraforming control of the map (and its easy to do). Excellently designed game. 10/10.

At about 5 hours into the game I have to say that it feels pretty fast paced, the characters are interesting (and unexpectedly flirty) and I'm not struggling figuring out the controls. That said, I feel like we should have more crops spaces in the early game because I can barely grow anything.
If you like cosy games like Stardew or Animal Crossing, then you'll enjoy this. Great little game.
