I needed something to fill an Animal Crossing shaped hole in my heart and this was it. I wasn't sure about the graphics style at first but I'm so into it now. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this game and honestly, I am SHOCKED I don't hear more about it in cozy game circles.

plays like a free to play gatcha collection game - only i paid for it, too. energy dictates how much you do in a day, seasons and time mean nothing, just do your chores and go to bed to reset for the next day. really interesting until you realize thats all the game is.
Its a PC game that doesn't let you use keyboard to write. It kinda lost me there already.
Game save suddenly disappeared. Seems like it is also happening to other players. I enjoyed the game while I was playing, but I am not sure I want to put more hours into it knowing it may happen again.
This game really evokes Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley for me. It's not either - doing its own thing...but the feel is similar. I've REALLY been liking its "action economy" - tying the clock to actions taken rather than a timer or real-world clock. There's no pressure to maximize how much you're doing. It keeps its chill in a way that Stardew never did for ME, and always has more to do in a way that Animal Crossing...doesn't. Beyond that, Littlewood is a fun and chill farming, adventuring, town-building, and town-decorating game. So far, I'm loving it. If you're into games like these, definitely give Littlewood a try!
Littlewood is a relaxing indie simulation game where you rebuild a ruined town and bring it back to life. As the mayor of Solemn, you have full freedom over how your town looks and feels. You can put buildings wherever you want, decorate with different objects, and create a layout that's totally your own. You get to farm, fish, cook, complete quests, and run a shop. I found there was always something to do. No time limits either, so you can take your time and play however you want. The characters you meet each have a bit of personality and small storylines of their own. Some moments are really sweet, especially as your friendships grow. The game looks great too. Bright, simple pixel art. The soundtrack’s also quiet and relaxing, which fits the tone perfectly. My main complaints are that some tasks get repetitive after a while, and the townsfolk have some pathfinding issues. The story is also pretty short and doesn't offer much depth.
Littlewood seems like basic indie game, but it is much more. The game is so much fun to play, it´s so well designed and story is interesting. You gain new skills and other important things is perfect pace. Also the biggest plus for me is, no freaking inventory management! The game really surprised on how good it is!
I have been looking for a Stardew Valley/Animal Crossing style game for QUITE some time and this is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. The game play is relaxing. I adore the way the time passes with your actions/stamina meter, and I enjoy the night time music so that is when I do most of my moving/decorating. It's captivating, story rich and peaceful.
