Little Misfortune

I love this studio's stuff. I like the dynamic between Narrator, Misfortune, and the player. I think a lot of narrator-based games tend to lean too hard into the 4th wall break and they lose out, because having an innocent child to anchor the story gives weight to all the distrust you build. And Misfortune is a character in her own right, it's a pleasure to see her react to things. As a game, it's extremely simplified and honestly there isn't much here. You just kind of hold left or right and interact with everything. These devs can do better, but I think they had a story they wanted to try out and they didn't want puzzles to get in the way. Treat it as a movie with some bonus scenes if you replay it.

Little misfortune é uma pequena garotinha azarada, como já diz o próprio nome, que tem uma péssima relação com seus pais, mas também acredita que com purpurina tudo pode ser concertado. Em um certo dia ela começa a ouvir a voz de um homem misterioso, que ela apelida carinhosamente de "Senhor Voz", que lhe diz que se ela chegar ao final de seu jogo, ele dará a ela a felicidade eterna, Misfortune aceita o desafio pois deseja dar o prêmio a sua mãe, que é muito infeliz em sua vida sem ânimo. Diante disso, acompanhamos a jornada dela em busca do premio, enquanto tomamos pequenas decisões sobre seu rumo na história, podendo mudar seu final. O jogo é incrível, ele te pega do início ao fim, e não há defeitos, mas o que mais poderia esperar da killmonday? ele é divertido, tem mistério e vai te proporcionar grandes risadas. Eu recomendo que você não leia e nem sabia nada sobre antes de joga-lo, sua experiência vai ser muito melhor. Um dos meus jogos favoritos sem dúvidas.

A cute game with a dark storyline. There's a lot of elements that don't exactly make sense, but it seems to be apart of the whimsy of the game. Took several speed runs after my initial play through to collect all of the achievements. That in itself was slightly annoying, but muting the audio and just rapid firing through dialogue helped a lot.
