About
Little Lighthouse of Horror is an atmospheric psychological horror game inspired by the eerie 1900 legend of the Flannan Isles. As the lighthouse keeper, you must maintain the light while confronting growing unease and unexplained phenomena. With isolation creeping in, your sanity will be pushed to the limit.
Survival depends on balancing Lawrence’s mental and physical health as he contends with the haunting isolation of the island. The lighthouse becomes both his lifeline and his prison as he navigates the fine line between duty and madness.
Resource Management: Monitor and ration food, oil, and supplies to keep the lighthouse operational.
Sanity System: Isolation and strange occurrences gradually erode Lawrence’s sanity. Manage his mental state to prevent complete madness.
Multiple Endings: Your choices shape Lawrence’s fate, leading to various outcomes based on your decisions.
Immersive Setting: A 1920s pixel art atmosphere, with haunting visuals and audio, adds to the tension as the island becomes both your sanctuary and nightmare.
Surviving the growing horror on the island requires careful management of resources and of Lawrence’s sanity.
Keep the Light Burning: The lighthouse is your duty, and failure to maintain it risks shipwrecks and further deterioration of its lightkeeper’s mental state.
Manage Resources: Food, oil, and wood are limited. Use the flag system to request supplies, but mismanaging them will leave you vulnerable.
Guard Your Sanity: Lawrence’s mind is fragile. Visions, whispers, and strange events will blur reality; keep him grounded or spiral into madness.
Endure the Weather: Storms and fog will make every task harder, affecting both your physical safety and the functioning of the lighthouse.
Multilevel Exploration: Explore the different floors of the lighthouse, each with its own set of challenges and tasks to maintain.
Weather Impact: Storms and fog will make tasks more dangerous. Adapt quickly, or risk losing vital resources or sanity.
Visitor Interactions: Rare visitors will arrive, bringing supplies or unexpected challenges. How you handle them affects the story’s outcome.
As the days pass, uncover the grim history of the island and Lawrence’s troubled past. The lighthouse holds more than just a beacon; it hides dark secrets that intertwine with Lawrence’s own memories. What truly happened to the previous keepers, and can Lawrence escape the island’s curse or his own mind?
Each choice deepens the mystery, leading to one of multiple endings that offer fresh experiences in every playthrough.

Rating: Dito: 4.25/5 Chat: 4/5 Gesamt: 4.13/5
Bugs aside, what kills this game for me is the balancing of resource management. for all the things you need to keep maintained and the fact you can only get fuel and spare parts to fix things once a week, the fact that weather can switch on a dime and the lighthouse system doesn't make sense for how lighthouses actually work. it's just all...off. I just get focused on keeping everything working, I don't have room to be scared.
A very interesting and small proposal with beautiful pixel art. If you enjoy tension and that classic atmosphere from H.P. Lovecraft's stories, this game combines that narrative with resource management and exploration. I love it when games are small and don’t require so many hours :D
Great Experience
Little Lighthouse of Horror masterfully blends psychological horror with resource management, creating a tense and immersive experience. The pixel art style and eerie 1920s setting pull you into its unsettling world, while the creeping sense of isolation keeps you on edge. Every choice matters, leading to multiple endings that add replay value
Simple, fun, nice, well made. That's a nice once!
