Throw your toys into your fire, and play with them as they burn. An adventure that takes place almost entirely in front of a fireplace - about looking up up up out of the chimney, and the cold world just on the other side of the wall. From the creators of World of Goo and Human Resource Machine.

Reviews
Alright game, but NOT worth 15 dollars. Also how the hell do you think it's a good idea to have no volume sliders and one of the loudest intros known to man

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I got this game because the reviews were great and one of the creators of "World of Goo" worked on it. Credit where credit's due, the visuals are great, especially the masterfully crafted fire effects. The gameplay, on the other hand, gets stale and tedious quickly. You buy toys, burn them, and use the resulting coins to buy more toys and burn those. You find "combos" by burning certain items together, and all you have to go off of are the combo titles and the items you unlocked, so you need to do a lot of trial-and-error and waiting to get all of them. There's a story, but it's bare-bones and told through letters, which the player has to do a lot of tedious toy-burning to get. That Kyle Gabler charm wore off quickly, and I got so bored of the game after a while that I just looked up all the remaining combos and speedran getting them so I could finish the game as soon as possible.
The game's second act was a refreshing change of pace, but all things considered, it was just a mediocre adventure game at best, and a miniature "art game" at worst.
Play World of Goo instead.
I don't get the hype for this game. It is SOOOO boring. It might be good for small children but literally all you do is buy toys and burn them. You try to match them up to get combos. but that is ALL there is to it. I kept waiting for it to change or for something to happen, but it never did. I gave it one hour and then deleted it. Very cool art and sound but there is NO game here. I can see a 5 year old maybe liking this. Sorry to the thousands that like it...I just don't get it.

Entertaining mechanic, paired with wonderful presentation. The game has a vibe that now feels dated, or overused, but back then wasn't, and it is done at top level here. So many small details give the game personality and life, it is unusual to find on a small game like this one.
ı rarely make negative reviews and unfortunately this is one of those times. This is a game I've known since I was smaller and I had liked watching it back then so I bought it. It's a cool game, but it eventually gets repetitive and doesn't offer much playtime even if you 100% the game. It's cheap game but still I don't think it's worth its price.
