About

There once was Elise, a vibrant and ambitious young lass with a big dream – becoming filthy rich. Alas, the stars didn’t seem to reserve much fortune for our protagonist. Elise, who came from humble beginnings, had no choice but to spend her days assisting her fellow neighbours with menial tasks to make a living.
One day, Elise discovers a pair of beautiful, shiny red shoes buried in her backyard – what a surprise! Bewitched, she embarks on a fearful journey that draws her ever closer into the heart of the mysterious Woods.
Will Elise risk it all for the sake of a dream come true, or settle for her humble day-to-day life? The ending of this tale is yours to write…

Little Goody Two Shoes is a horror narrative adventure game, set in a hand-painted fairy tale environment. There are 10 possible endings to fit your choices and actions in the game.
But there’s more than meets the eye here, as you must also manage multiple aspects of Elise’s life in the village to stay alive. Remember, all decisions matter in this story!
During the day, you will need to strengthen Elise’s bonds with her fellow villagers and work to make a living by playing fun minigames.
But once the moon rises, make sure to keep Elise fed, healthy and sane in the multiple encounters with deadly foes as she makes her way further into the Woods.

Kieferberg is a small and devout village, which means Elise will need to carefully navigate her relationships with the villagers to avoid arousing suspicion of witchcraft and be left to die in the Woods as punishment.
At night, Elise can roam around the Woodlands, a mystical and phantasmagorical realm where enigmas and deadly enemies await as she tries to uncover its secrets.
Through a limited day and night cycle Elise will need to carefully manage her needs if she wants to stay alive to finish her tale.
Get struck by Cupid’s arrow and fall in love with the charming bachelorettes of Kieferberg. In this all-female cast of romanceable characters, unlock dreamy date scenes and storylines for each of them.

The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Little Goody Two Shoes is probably one of the most visually striking games I have ever played. Its attention to detail and vivid aesthetics makes it feel like a living breathing picture book that I'm interacting with in real time. The 90s anime visuals is really the cherry on top, the interludes between sections, and the beautiful animation & music make LGTS almost an interactive anime rather than your typical RPGmaker game. That being said however, LGTS leans far more into the video part of videogames. Gameplay is far and few in between consisting of a good chunk of it are four mini games or slightly muddled puzzles during only one section of the day over the seven days of the game. The main meat of this game is swathed between the story, heavy visual novel elements and a lot of back and forth repetitive gameplay makes this title not for everyone since the pacing can sometimes halt to a crawl due to the friction between the gameplay and visual novel parts. However, despite the lack of actual gameplay I still enjoyed my time with LGTS. Elise is fun and a bratty protagonist with real moral qualms, and it was hard to get a read on all of the other side characters for better or worse which really immersed me in the ongoing mystery. The endings were slightly disappointing at first, and terribly vague, which led me to watching a compilation of them all which made the experience overall better, and cemented a little bit more love for the game's eldritch horror theming. If you love RPGmaker games or cute-scary games without jumpscares and with lots of story then LGTS is one to grab. It won't be for everyone, I didn't really truly fall in love with it until the second half of the game, but I'm so glad I finally got around to playing this one because god what an experience it was!
Even though I have both positive and negative thoughts about it, I would still generally recommend this game. Positive aspects: Incredible 2D artwork and animations. (However, if you have astigmatism like I do, I recommend adjusting the brightness and contrast settings in the game. Otherwise, it starts giving me a headache after about an hour.) The story is interesting. (Unfortunately, I haven't played the previous game that the original story is connected to, so this is only my opinion based on this game alone.) There are a lot of dating and ending options. (This can get boring after a while, and I'll explain why in the negative section.) Negative aspects: Some of the puzzles and game design are quite poorly made. Specially in Friday Witch Hour, gave me problems even on my second playthrough to the point where I didn't even feel like continuing from there. After a while, even if you know what you're supposed to do, either the map is simply too large, or you don't know what you're supposed to do in the first place. I'm not going to criticize the quality of every single puzzle here; consider this more of a warning that some of the puzzles are genuinely poorly designed. Because of this, certain parts of the game feel quite unreplayable. So far so good I've managed to get a few of the endings on my first run, but getting the endings for the other two characters has been much harder for me. Still tho, I have a lot of respect for yuri included games. There aren't many of them and when there are so few, it's not easy to find works of this quality.
:D
Pro: I loved the whole 90s CRT Anime style and the witchy fairytale vibes. Also liked dating the three girls. The style and cheese story are definitely the games strongest asset. Contra: In my opinion it lacks in actual game play aspects. The mini games where a bit janky but overall ok. Repeating them every day however was slightly annoying. The witching hour was often frustrating in controls and because it was pretty unclear what could kill you. So I often had to watch the same cutscenes over and over again. Overall the really strong aesthetics kept me entertained and I also wanted to see the multiple endings.
That puzzle on Friday made me wish I was never born. Awesome game
LTGS is a game I fully recommend. The journey of Elise uncovering Kieferberg's secrets and her own origins, is an intriguing one. I very much enjoyed it, as well as the sweet moments she has with her three romantic partners, though it may be frustrating having to go through a dialogue again if you choose the wrong choice in the events. The yuri is relatively tame in this game, so you can play it in the presence of your parents. But when you replay the game, you just fell horrible sometimes knowing what awaits at the very end. The game can get suprisingly dark at times, especially when it comes to the endings. The art is obviously gourgeous, and probably why you're even interested in the game. That goes for both the in-game character-pixel-art and the drawn 2D art. The landscape looks straight from a picture book and look immaculate. The music is just as good and is somehow reminiscent of the soundtrack from the Ghibli films. Not only are there four vocal songs (that come in cutscenes), the BGM is just perfect most of the time (Rosemarine's dialogue theme is my favorite). I really appreciate the charming mini-games you play as a job, especially the adorable pixel art accompanying it. And the fact that they were also implented as challenges for the testaments, is just an impressive design choice. All in all, this a beautiful RPG with good visuals that delivers an enjoyable experience. Just don't go expecting fight scenes or anything of the sorts. 8.9/10
cassy likes it so i'm sure it's great
I'm not much of a horror game player, but this game has interested me ever since I saw a trailer for it years ago. Little Goody Two Shoes is a Yuri horror game with resource management. The game centers on Elise, a peasant girl who's fed up with living in poverty. After meeting a strange Pagan girl named Rozenmarine, Elise begins experiencing a weird portion of the night called the Witching Hour, where a mysterious entity promises to grant her wish...for a price. First of all, this game is gorgeous. The 90's Shojo anime artstyle and occasional mixed media makes this a very pretty game to look at. The entire thing is eye candy, and I was always looking forward to seeing more of it as I played through the game. The soundtrack is similarly charming, and even features a few animated musical numbers. The day segments of the game mainly consist of talking to the villagers, doing work around town for pennies, and dating one of three girls. Each work segment consists of an arcade-style minigame, and your pay depends on your score. You have four different meters to keep an eye on: hunger, which depletes whenever time passes; health, which is important for the Witching Hour; sanity meter, which affects the way Elise sees her surroundings; and suspicion, which goes up whenever the townspeople suspect Elise of being a witch. The first three meters can be healed with items, but the suspicion meter can only go down by answering questions correctly and by bribing the local blabbermouth with food everyday. The late night portion of the game has the Witching Hour, which is where the horror part of the game comes out. Each Witching Hour segment tasks Elise with solving varies puzzles and overcoming trials in order to collect the three items she must exchange in order to have her wish granted. Elise is not capable of combat, so need to avoid enemies and keep your health above zero in order to survive. Resource management is a big part of the game. Elise makes very little money from work, and shops have limited supplies. Sometimes you can find items in the Witching Hours, but you may end up using them sooner than later. You need to manage your inventory carefully, as it is possible to get softlocked if you get stuck in a situation where you have no food or money and one food point. While it can be frustrating, it helps the player understand why Elise wants to escape poverty so badly. As mentioned previously, this is a Yuri game. All three of Elise's potential love interests are women, and romancing them is a big part of the game. Most of this is done by scheduling dates with each specific girl during the day and occasionally choosing the correct dialogue options. Each girl has a different dynamic with Elise, and it's fun to see them get closer to each other. I'm probably biased, but Rozenmarine is my favorite. I think my only real complaint with the game is that some of the Witching Hour segments are rather vague on what you're supposed to do. The moon puzzle in particular stood out to me as confusing. I also recommend that people save often while playing and have multiple save slots, not only to avoid the softlock mentioned earlier but also so that you can reload if you want to retry a Witching Hour segment. I ended up stuck in a difficult Witching Hour segment with one hit-point left and struggled quite a bit to progress. Overall, I really recommend this game to anyone who enjoys horror games, Yuri, or even just anyone looking for a really pretty game to play.
