The art in this game is so cute and cozy while the puzzles range from challenging to fairly easy while all managing to be engaging regardless of difficulty. I enjoyed learning about the characters and liked the way the puzzles took advantage of the environment. Thank goodness for the hint system cuz a few of those had me scratching my head. Very fun little game.
I really loved this game, me and 2 other friends played it <3/ The art, characters and story are so cute and wholesome :3. The puzzles were also really good, especially the timed one ! My only complaint would be the weirdly long loading screens (especially the one from house to garden). p.s. Was the attic (stairs next to butter's room) at any point open for exploring? Did I miss any secrets?

非常温馨的小故事 感觉不像是玩了一个恐怖标签的游戏,更像是读了一篇美好温馨的短篇小说。
Delightful little puzzle game. I'm happy with the time I spent with it.
Lovely little game. I enjoyed the puzzles and the story/dialogue. Super cute art style.
Super fun! Puzzles were just the right amount of challenging: I had to use my brain but managed to figure all of them out in the end :) Such a wonderful story line as well, it kept me captivated from start to end
Little Ghosthunter is a very nice puzzle adventure game presented in a side-scrolling 2D view. Mostly we're solving logic puzzles, which are a lot of fun. The dialogs with NPCs are well written, but their main purpose is getting hints for puzzles. And I think there is exactly one inventory puzzle in which we need to use an item without being prompted to. Also there's a tiny bit of action-adventure thrown into the mix. The only issue I had with the puzzles was a confusing hint in the bee puzzle: I assumed that it was a requirement that each bee should be
connected by a knight's move to another bee
. The first part of that hint is also unnecessary because there is another hint showing that
two bees can't be placed in the same row
. The build-up of the story was interesting, but the reveal was strange. The main villain is not sociopathic enough and his motives are not strong enough to do something like that, and the story ended in a rather bizarre and unsatisfactory way. The graphics are quite good, but I think one thing that needs to be improved is the walking/hopping animation for the main character. The animation is not smooth enough and at the same time the jump is too high, so the movement is very jerky, especially in smaller locations where the sprite is larger. I would say either the animation needs more frames or the bouncing movement should be toned down. There are a couple of other technical issues. Stairs can be finicky: if I press Forward and then Jump, sometimes the character gets stuck, so I have to move to a different spot or press Jump first and then Forward. Another small annoyance is having to stare at a loading screen for a couple of seconds every time I exit a room. The UI is fine, with only some minor hiccups (sometimes it's unclear whether I'm interacting with a dialog window or with an object).
Really cute game, some of the puzzles were tough especially as theres currently no walkthroughs! But I'm kind of glad now that I stuck it out until I could figure them out for myself bc it was really satisfying once they clicked. Good story and animation style, defo recommend!
What a lovely little game! I really enjoyed the hand-painted graphics. I wouldn't have written the plot that way, but the dialogues, art and music were so charming that I am very much inclined to forgive this little flaw. The puzzles are very satisfying to solve as well!
This was cute and challenging but doable! I loved the art style and the puzzles were a variety. Some took some brain scratching (especially playing during release week with no guides or hints!) but definitely achievable with some thinking and pencil and paper at times. The characters were cute and I enjoyed the storyline.
