About

Liquidation is a tactical Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game set in a universe that mixes elements of both fantasy and science fiction, with support for both single-player and multiplayer modes.
Our story unfolds on the dying planet of Veá, where a sudden, cataclysmic event, known as the Splintering, wiped out entire species and destroyed thriving civilzations.
In its wake, a strange, powerful substance, called Quenrium rose from the depths of the world. Discovery of life-sustaining properties of Quenrium, in a world starved for resources, led a conflict between the Twilight Crusade and the Scourge alliance over its possesion.
Thus began the Quenrium War.
Fanatical zealots clad in radiant golden armor. Guided by unshakable faith, they seek absolute control of the planet and the eradication of all who oppose their holy mandate.
A desperate coalition of Lamia tribes and technologically advanced Frogkin. United by necessity, they combine primal ferocity with cutting‑edge weaponry to survive against overwhelming threats.
Host of demons pouring into Veá through a tear in reality. Shapen by a godlike entity from the Nether realm, they only seek to do bidding of their master.
Liquidation delivers tightly balanced battles where every unit and ability serves a clear, intentional role.
The game encourages thoughtful army composition and mid‑sized forces, striking a sweet spot between micro‑level control and macro‑level strategy. This creates a battlefield where smart tactical choices, clever positioning, and well-timed abilities can swing the tide and secure decisive advantages.
Liquidation’s story is driven by powerful commanders who serve as the narrative centerpieces.
Commanders level up and unlock new abilities as the campaign progresses. Commanders are not meant to overshadow the armies they lead. Even the strongest commander cannot stand alone. Every strength comes with a weakness. This creates a world where heroes matter, but armies remain essential.

Game smooth and enjoying it so far, As if Starcraft and Frozen Throne had a stepchild who never listened.
cool rts
Kirkland brand WC3 / SC mashup. Doesn't have co/op campaign. Doesn't have many factions. Feels decades old at launch. This will only really appeal to die-hard WC3 and SC fans and doesn't bring much to the table other than, "It's like those games but run by devs that care." I like the timeline and narrative interest, that's super cool. Wish it mattered more and there was interesting co-op content to play. It's all just more hyper-competitive RTS arena, same stuff that's been coming out for two decades, with very little experimentation or vision of its own. Blegh Edit: (Response to the devs) The game is tagged with online co-op on the steam store. I do not think the three factions is falsely advertised (you are up front about it). The criticism isn't that you were dishonest about it, the criticism is there aren't many factions. I understand that you are an indie dev, and you have poured time, love, and blood into this title. But also understand that as a consumer, I am going to review it as if I bought a game on a storefront to enjoy; while I empathize with your development I am criticizing your RTS in light of the other contemporary options available, and my emotional reaction upon playing.

A spiritual successor to Warcraft III, with some Starcraft and DoW elements thrown in. There is no attempt made to hide the sources of inspiration: experienced WC III players would quickly recognize familiar abilities and units. While there is some jank to it and not much content (only 3 playable factions with 2-3 heroes each, no flying units, very limited items, no item shops/mercenary camps or other such points of interest, as well as fairly forgettable creeps) at the moment, so far Liquidation seems promising and in time may very well become the Warcraft IV we need.
Warcraft 3 meets Stacraft 2. Tiene mucho futuro por delante.
Honestly, I didn’t expect Liquidation to give me that old RTS feeling again. You know when you start a game thinking you’ll play for 20 minutes, and then suddenly it’s been two hours because you just wanted to finish one more attack? I’ve been getting a bit of that with this game. It’s still Early Access, so there are definitely some rough edges and things that need work. But I’m enjoying the actual gameplay a lot more than I expected. The factions don’t all feel the same, the units have some character to them, and fights aren’t just about making the biggest army possible and sending everything straight at the enemy. Positioning and actually using your units properly makes a difference. This is what I experienced in the very first moment of my gameplay :D If you used to play a lot of RTS games and miss that feeling of saying “one more game” and then staying up way too long, I’d say give Liquidation a try.
Updated review: If you're looking for a new RTS with a good multiplayer experience, this is not it. I came across the game the day before it released, and as a lifelong fan of RTS games (AoE 2, C&C, Warcraft 3, Starcraft 2), I was instantly drawn in by the visuals. Playing through the campaign, I've thoroughly enjoyed the missions and believe that the single player experience is well worth the price. The game play was smooth, and I was impressed that the game worked so flawlessly on my distro. The only bug I encountered was when running an optimization script, the control groups stopped working in game. As for the multiplayer, this is my only disappointment with the game. It doesn't feel like it qualifies as a RTS. The starting banked resources are so excessively high, coupled with the 1v1 maps being so small, it leaves little room for actual strategy to happen. There's hardly any opportunity to kill more than 1 or 2 groups of neutral mobs (let alone tech up), before you're getting all-in'd, which happens within the first 2-5 minutes. TLDR: Single player - 8/10 Multiplayer - 0/10
Fun RTS, WC3 meets DOW vibes. Cool factions, nice readability and varied designs between them keep things easy to parse. I had playtested in the past but left that group, it's nice to see what had changed since. Excited to see more! <3
Insanely promising RTS, especially for us oldies who remember WC3 Ladder. This can only get better, I can tell.
