The therapist ex girlfriend character was truly evil. It's not really about that, thought. It's about death and feeling old and all of those morality related things. It's kind of weird how only the young women characters get sprites, and we don't get to see any old and ugly people, but it's fine for its price.
This was a really cool visual novel experience. I have to mention the grand musical score and artwork within this visual novel, as it's pretty top tier. The commentary regarding grief and death was rather intriguing and interesting, and with the drama and setting that the story took place, made for an experience that I will never forget. This game definitely made me interested in their other games. Honestly the only real downside of this game is that there really needed to be more of a buildup for the plot twist, as it felt like it came out of know where, and that although I do really like the art style, I think that when it comes to the overall cohesion of design, I think that this game is like 95% there, instead of 100%. Still, a great visual novel, and this game is getting an 8/10.
Lily of the Valey Eng and Pt-br review
Podia ser Lily of the Brick, porque o jogo me atingiu mais forte do que um tijolo OBS: O piano na OST e os sprites são tão bons!

More like Lily of the Brick, cause the game hit me harder than a brick PS: The piano in the OST and sprites are soo good!
It's the plot of the movie "It's a wonderful Life" except James Stewart dies at the end but after he understands how precious everything in his life was, he is then told it was all pointless and didn't really matter anyway. The punchline of the story was the fact that the protagonists' mother choked on Lily's muffin. I think we all know what the Shrimp Princess was going for there.
Short, sweet and sad story about those things we tend to forget. Love your families and help each other.
I’m not really sure what happened with Steam tracking my time for this one. I’ve played the game fully and it probably took somewhere between 2 and 4 hours. I wasn’t keeping track because Steam usually does that! Lily of the Valley was a sweet but sad visual novel about a depressed man who returns to his childhood home after his mother passed away unexpectedly from a stupid accident. The story is set in Wales, and while originally I thought the constant complaints about the greyness and raininess of the country were a little unfair (We do sometimes get glorious sunshine!) our real life weekend holiday plans were abruptly interrupted by wind, rain and fog. This August feels like early autumn. The weather is terrible hahah! So I do think the weather depiction is fair, and it definitely suits the sad tone of the story. The art is great, and I appreciated being able to swap between the new and old art assets! The story made me cry a little, and I wish there could have been a happy ending! (But the story is probably better without one) I highly recommend this visual novel to Ebi-Hime fans. I don’t think it’s one of her most memorable stories, so if you’re unfamiliar with her work you and you want to pick a single one of her visual novels to start off with, I would say that you should pick one of her best sellers first! They’re well worth it. Come back to this offering after you’re hooked on her stuff, and you’ll be good to go!
