We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Jogo incrível, ta no meu TOP 3 da franquia Yakuza
For someone who has never played any other Yakuza game and knows nothing about the series, this game was great! Main character has amnesia so there was no confusion with previous games besides relating to the main character knowing nothing about them.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

it is the best pirate game, with ease. i liked the recruit system (i missed that in black flag). but, the game has a bug that closes my game everytime i enter into a battleship. GOAT 9/10
bloat: the game
A fun pirate adventure overall. You still have to play the previous games for full context but game itself is standalone except for the ending scene. Story is just ok for the most part tbh. The sidequests are nothing new but still entertaining nonetheless. Although the naval combat is kind of shallow and the exploration is limited. It's fun to 100% this until you found out the advanced pirate battles are broken and overpowered. (Just spam heavy attacks at this point). AC Black Flag is still my favorite pirate game; but this one is a close second.
Got it when it was 75% off. Was fun for the first half and then it just got repetitive. Story was bland and I ended up just skipping the cut scenes towards the end. Solid 6/10. Also you can easily 100% it in around 40 hours
Oh, let's just give our protagonist amnesia so the story makes sense!
Don't get me wrong, i love Majima but this game had no soul at all. Usually a Yakuza game is filled with bunch of different emotions, fun, sadness, hate, greed and so on but Pirate Yakuza had nothing of it. This game felt like a huge mini game and the story is the sidequest. All the pirate stuff got boring pretty quick and the gameplay feels like a temu version of DMC5. When it comes to the story... im just speechless how bad it actually was. If you played through the whole thing then you know what im talking about. It starts off kinda alright but gets worse with each chapter. The villains look like out of a netflix movie and fighting them wasn't fun at all. Even the sidequests were pretty bad compared to the prequels. Most fun i've had was probably doing the "Minato Girl" sídequest which was hilarious. I feel like RGG has no idea what to do with the Yakuza franchise at this point. It actually feels like the only reason why they made a Pirate Yakuza game with Majima is an attempt trying to fix all the bs that has happened in Infinite Wealth with Bryce etc. Even the achievements are not what they used to be. Usually you get an achievement for doing all sidequest, doing dragon races, collecting all stuff like the treasures in this game but in this game you get nothing for doing sidestuff in most cases. Anway, im glad i didn't pay 60 euro for this and and got it for 15 euro on discount. Took me 69 hours to finish the game and getting all achievements. Hopefully next Yakuza game will go back to the roots.
