Man I really love how they put a 2 different real Samurai warrior into their story plot twist. The Bakumatsu period is really interesting though to be honest as a Yakuza fan I cannot recommend it to anyone. The game is flawed but still enjoyable and do not forget SWORD DANCER IS THE BEST STYLE. AND PLEASE RGG make a remastered version of Kenzan. Overall the game is quite good story is great though it might get repetitive but still a good spinoff.
if u tell ppl that this is your favorite yakuza game they genuinely execute you publicly by driving 10 trucks over your body
steaming pile of goat ♥♥♥♥, feels like ♥♥♥♥, combat is ♥♥♥♥. animated like ♥♥♥♥, dialog is ♥♥♥♥. all of it is ♥♥♥♥.
Only on chapter 4 but this is a REALLY fun game. I actually find it more fun than the other Yakuza games I've played (Kiwami + 0). It's really pretty. All of the combat styles are enjoyable. The music is great.
SAMURAI
If you know the historical context of the game and have played the previous yakuza games, you will definitely enjoy the story and watching the old cast in brawl out in place of historical figures. The map scenery was beautiful, but I also felt like the mini games were mostly luck-based gambling, did not enjoy losing all my money to 5 odds in a row for odd or even game. I felt like combat was mixed bag. I liked how there isn't an all-purpose parry button, you have use different parries based on the attack, but all the useful utility movements, such as parry or dodge into counterattack, are hidden behind upgrades you can unlock only much later. There are 4 different weapon choices and I only played with single sword, but the game at some points forces player to play with specific weapon set. If you don't have any upgrades unlocked for that weapon set, good luck I guess. The camera made the combat feel clunky and I was begging for the game to end by the last two chapters. I feel pretty neutral about this game, but there are better yakuza games to play out there.
Games da franquia like a dragon e yakuza mostra o melhor de um homem com etiqueta pode vim a ser, game top
Need to be always online. I stopped playing after 3rd chapter because of constant online connection is needed
Gave up on completing substories and leveling up. Takes too long. I just wanna fight Amon ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Also, leveling up brawler is a pain in the ass. Either power through the arena fights or grind enough virtue to buy food for leveling up. Either way, its still takes a long ass time. The only thing kept me going is me waiting for Mine to call me a good boy and still didnt happen. Buy when on sale.
