Great VR game tested with HTC Vive. Guide the princess up the tower with a magic wand. Very challenging and fun for all ages! Great sound track, fantastic graphics and no crashes or issues so far. Unlock 33 Achievements Test your speed at reacting to various situations with each level. All around great game!
Hello, I must apologies for this is my first ever review. I have reached pretty far in the game, I will update my review on completion of the game. I barely got myself a Mixed Reality headset and was looking around the steam store when I came across this game before release and thought this would be a pretty neat game. Compared to all the other games on steam at the time and now I still think this game is one of the most well made on the steam market right now! So the game is a simple puzzle/platformer and as you progress thru the game the puzzles become more difficult and rewarding with very little to no hand holding/tutorials form the game. As you progress thru the game you will have little interactions with the little princess as she wishes to reach the top of the tower. Best way I could describe her is that she is a spunky princess thinking she can get up the tower all by herself. The game mechanics are crisp, clean and responsive. Be aware, for players that are starting out the game. Applying any pressure on the touch pad activates the light making the princess move. I learned this the hard way and had my thumb rest on it almost the entire time making simple puzzles more difficult then they necessarily needed to be. The problem with the controls can be that if you’re not careful you could accidently fall of the side of the cliff if you aren’t aiming just right. I think what pleased me the most is that some puzzles can be solved in multiple of ways when you start thinking outside the box and realize that you are playing in a 3D environment and that you can manipulate that environment to better help you solve the puzzle even if it wasn’t intended to be solved that way. The music is fun and fitting for the puzzles and I couldn’t stop grinning ear to ear when one particular song started to play on one of the puzzles. I will let you guess which one it is! The evolution of the platforming Genera with VR is amazing in this game and is definitely should be the first game you should experience when playing VR! The puzzles can be difficult but fills you with a load of achievement when you discover a solution for yourself! The only downside is the model of our main protagonist and how her cloths keep clipping thru her other than that. I would give this game an 8/10 a must try for those who are barely starting to play VR games and a fair price for a fun experience!
A Great VR Puzzle Platformer. In the game, you are using your staff to guide the little princess to finish each levels. With your another hand, you can move the camera and interact with puzzles on the map. You can move boxes, platforms to help your princess to travel through the levels. There are also bosses and it is a little challenging to beat them. Keep in mind the control is a bit hard to adopt and you may fail a lot. But the game is still easy to get immersed into, fun and interesting for both young and grown ups.
Family friendly fun VR platformer - This is the game to share with the entire family. In it you have 6DOF to guide a princess along a upward building series of levels back to her heaven as she's some kind of trapped soul in a super cute anime style princes body. Why I'm a bit lazy and wonder how automatic camera woudl have been I grew to apprecaite the manual freedom and puzzle elements that are introduced as you progress in the game. I can see this game requiring a few hours to beat for those normal gamers and likley longer for those who want to casual play or share the experience. Get a vr headset and have fun with this cute little game! You can play with mouse and keyboard and still enjoy it! But it feels like it was made for mostly VR! https://youtu.be/uWHFa9Aoy2o
可爱!
终于出平面版啦,像我们这种没VR的终于能玩了
Good.
Cool title that totally works now! VR enabled platformer that really is. Check it out!
Kind of wish there was a more neutral option than just Yes/No. The biggest problem with this game is that there is a crash on Exit that will force you to remove your VR headset to dismiss the crash dialog when you want to stop playing. While this doesn't impact gameplay this is a huge inconvenience in general. (Used Vive, did not test Rift and don't know if the crash happens there or not.) Furthermore, this game is predominantly viewed from different angles by grabbing and rotating the map. If you have ever seen or played a game called Echochrome it's basically like that although without the perspective gimmick. This means, unfortunately in my opinion, that there is no real reason for this to be a VR title, BUT I do appreciate the developers' contributions to diversifying the genres and perspectives available for VR. The game seems fairly straight forward and simple, there is no real penalty for death as far as I can tell except you start at the last checkpoint which are frequent. It's a good game for beginners, kids, or people who just want to have a slightly different VR game in case the stuff they're already playing gets stale. This game is also perfect for playing seated.
