muito triste
Definitivamente, o melhor jogo de toda a coleção. Os outros não chegam aos pés desse. Me emociono sempre.
play it.

I really wish I could say I was loving, or at least enjoying, this game- because I really, REALLY, loved the first Life is Strange. This game is just in a completely different ballpark though and has left me actively bored and disliking, sometimes hating, the story at times- especially with how much false illusion of choice there exists in major parts of the story. Perhaps my first issue is the story. Whilst the first game had truly loveable, albeit heavily flawed, characters, there was always something to look forward to, relate to, or at least understand. They felt like real humans who all truly grew as the story went on. Likewise, you- the player- are the true decider of your destiny in LiS1- you have the powers, the choices over life and death, etc. That is not the case here, where you babysit an annoying, selfish, and constantly bratty, whiny child who never seems to develop AT ALL. Whilst I get he is meant to be 9 and going through a lot, this combined with some episodic choices- such as the fact Shaun ALWAYS gets severely injured at the end of episode 3- just makes me hate him and, by effect, a lot of the story. Likewise, the nature of this 'we're on the run' narrative means you never build a connection to anyone or anything in this: there are so many characters and places you think would be vital to the story who end up only sticking around for one episode with effectively no future callbacks, and similarly, a lot of 'filler'- there are so many scenes and locations and events that seem important during and for maybe 5 minutes after, but then they have 0 bearing on anything. The game is also showing its age quite significantly. Ranging from the not-so-subtle political commentary on immigration, gender, etc that dates the game in the middle of Trump's first term, to a clearly jittery engine that struggled to track entities and results in extensive clipping. I really wish I could tell you that this game was good, enjoyable, and worth the amount of money and time required to truly play it without speedrunning it. I cannot say that this game meets any of those criteria. I completed the first LiS in a week- it has taken me over a month to complete half of this one. It is, frankly, boring and unappealing. Let us hope the next installment is better.
Very cool game! :)
