Lies of P is a thrilling soulslike that takes the story of Pinocchio, turns it on its head, and sets it against the darkly elegant backdrop of the Belle Epoque era.

Great game
A great Souls-like game overall with a good story built around a familiar fable. Challenging enough but Specter-system was a bit too available, making some bossfights a bit too spam and kill. Parrying system was fun and there was plenty of side quests and secrets to uncover. Solid 9/10

I'm very much not a fan of company's making this "compiling shaders" a start-up thing every single time you open your game, but thankfully it loads far faster than, say, Veilguard does, and I've been enjoying the time I've played so far. I am NOT a soulslike enthusiast by any means. I refuse to play any of the Souls games, or Elden Ring, or anything similar because that level of difficulty is simply not fun to me, it's just frustrating. Thankfully, this game is different in that it lets you select your own difficulty, and I am VERY grateful for that. Don't get me wrong, it's still a challenge for me, but it at least feels like less of the game just rubbing a middle finger all over my face, and more just like "I need to be more careful around this enemy" type of deal. The story so far has been lovely to experience, and I'm not confused about anything so far. I've been able to follow along pretty well. The Legion Arms are really cool, the weapons are neat, and I've liked experiencing the levelling system, as well as the small upgrades and add-ons you can put on yourself because of your unique mortality. I'd absolutely recommend to others, despite my dislike for the "compiling shaders" stuff.
一坨狗屎,从第八章开始就看得出来没活了纯堆怪犯贱,boss设计尤其是魅影行者这种都来了,只能说棒子做游戏抄都抄不明白,可悲
My favorite souls like. I already played it on console and had to get it again so I could play it on my steam deck. It runs great on it. The moody lighting of the darker levels looks gorgeous on the OLED screen.
Lies of Peak, simple as that.
