Lies of P is a thrilling soulslike that takes the story of Pinocchio, turns it on its head, and sets it against the darkly elegant backdrop of the Belle Epoque era.

Ye
Checkpoints should be very close to bosses, this is a dark souls game where you will die a lot and to make the checkpoint to the boss far and I have to walk a minute each time I die and it's more frustrating then the boss itself, the developers are idiots for this.
类魂第一名当之无愧
nice
One of the few games I consider a perfect 10/10. The combat, story, levels, enemies, weapons—everything about this game is amazing, with little to no downsides. That’s not to say it’s for everyone or that it has no faults at all. But the downsides barely detract from the experience, and from a Souls fan’s perspective, it just gets everything right. I feel like FromSoftware could learn a lot from Neowiz and how they approach the Souls formula.
Lies of Peak was amazing literally one of the best Souls-Like out there. Overture DLC just amped it up even more. Glad I finished it all the way through and the New Game Plus adds a little more depth into the game. cant wait for there next game that was hinted at with the endings. I finally understand why the game got so much praise when it came out. I wish i would have played it sooner now.
Just get dark souls
Get it on sale. Game has extremely frustrating enemies after the first three-quarters of gameplay. You'll go from having wonder and awe at the foes you meet and then find yourself breaking your teeth in frustration as relentless never-ending combos pile upon you and keep you at zero-stamina for entire boss fights. Perfect parrying is a cool system and all but making it punish you for getting a "fatal attack" on your foe by making said enemy perform an extremely high-damage attack while "stumbling" into their stun animation? Complete garbage. Imagine if every time in Dark Souls that when you parried an enemy he still swings an attack that does two-thirds of your health bar and then the critical-hit you get maybe does one tenth of their health bar? It's complete malarkey. Theming and overall gameplay is okay. I hate being animation locked and unable to dodge or block/parry. Is the game fun? I give it a 6/10, get it on sale. I thoroughly enjoyed it up until every enemy suddenly did the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ "you stunned me but I still attack" nonsense and every boss became an insane game of relentless combos that require Sekiro-on-crack levels of perfect-blocking to even hope to have a chance to fight back.
