Liber 777 Without Tears

For a long time I have been fascinated by the massive collection of esoteric correspondences which are systematized in Crowley's 777. A thorough acquaintance with these correspondences is essential to deciphering Crowley's other work as well as the related corpus of Golden Dawn inspired esoterica. But the broader application of this practice yields a special kind of memory palace, where many of the most powerful, memorable (and consequently religious and spiritual) images are leveraged to create a wireframe to hold any collection of information which is deemed to correspond by number, color, phoneme, lexeme, or any other signifier in the web of relations which form the geometric architecture of the tree of life. As any memory-champ will tell you, the keys to memory are potent mental images combined with spatial relations. The more relations a datum has, the more entrenched it becomes in the memory, and the more available it is for future associations. The integration of all the archetypal and sensual images of experience supposedly leads to a similar integration of the energies of the human psyche. I've skimmed through the tables from time to time, and searched for a long time for an application or even a shared Anki deck covering this material, to no avail. With more time and commitment I might have authored my own aids to memory, as many adepts have done before. Alas, I did not. So I was very excited to find this application. For anyone interested in studying this material, this is a great boon. While far from complete, the most fundamental material is presented in a beautiful and effective manner, and the developer is communicative and open to further expanding the scope of coverage. Well worth it for less than the price of a paperback copy of 777, which contains copious explanatory notes, essays, and appendices, and should be studied in conjunction with memory work done in this application. An ad-supported mobile version of this application is available as well, if you want to try it first. I prefer to work on other devices without advertisements, and the developer has also indicated that the more flexible development pipeline for steam may allow for more frequent updates of this version.

I have been enjoying the use of this program very much. I find it can be a very useful training program for rapid mental exercise and refreshing ones memory of the contents of 777. I would highly recommend its use for the Student and Neophyte. I have not explored the program long enough yet to know the full content coverage of 777 but I hope it does or sometime will include the Enochian and Arabic alphabet correspondences. I shall post a second review once I have fully explored the content contained within this program. I do wish however that a Setting Option could be added to adjust the layout from being based on the Golden Dawn Paths to Letters, to that of Liber AL vel Legis 1:57 or maybe a Mod or DLC that can be a Sandbox or RWG type to allow a Blank to be created and then customized to any Alphabet and Arrangement of Number, Color, and Placements upon the Tree/trees, such as Cuneiform, Rune, Persian, Mayan, ect. I hope to see this program grow and expand to more depth of Exercises and Visuals. Cheers !!

This has been a tremendous help in learning the correspondences in Liber 777, I don't think I'd be making nearly the same progress with independent study alone. I definitely recommend this for anyone beginning their study of Liber 777, especially those who are finding the sheer scope of information intimidating. I particularly appreciate how this sets you up to start learning the color scales by displaying those even before you start studying that material in the game. My only complaint is thus: I'm not a fan of the AI assets just from an aesthetic standpoint. They look very obviously AI generated and don't feel like much thought was put into them. I'm not going to make any arguments pro or against AI here, I'm sure if you're reading this you have your own opinion. (If the developers are in need of an artist to provide replacement assets, I'd be happy to volunteer my services free of charge as I'd love to see this application step away from the AI slop. My DMs are open!)
