This game is honestly so underrated. I played this in a partnership with Goldenrod Games on my Twitch Channel to help promote their game and leave an honest review on it. I ended up playing for just over 4 hours with my community on Twitch and we had such an enjoyable time with many back to back laughs on end. It's crazy to think you know so much based in certain subjects however some topics and questions really catch you off guard and then it will stun you with confusion for a moment so it actually kind of tests your knowledge to a degree. Also upon purchase of this game you are automatically help raise awareness for people with learning disabilities as this is one of the major goals and incentives of this game. I also know that 10% of the earnings Goldenrod Games receive will be going to a learning disability challenge to help advocate for those that struggle with education as a whole. Highly recommend and this game is a good fun where you can challenge yourself in every aspect.
I'll give this a lukewarm positive review. It was sort of fun checking to see how much of this stuff I've retained many years hence. I'm apparently still a B student, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, though getting questions wrong in this will certainly feel embarrassing, though personally I consider questions about memorizing dates and early explorers something of a given. Similarly, there are a lot of questions about obscure holidays which weren't a part of my public school education back in the day. Still, there is plenty of good stuff in the math, science, and English categories which still feels fair most of the time. Each grade is broken up into 4 courses of 10 questions each, and covers 5 grades, so you have about 200 questions in a play-through. You can re-take the quizzes and it will change things up, but you will still get a fair bit of repetition. In the end the asking price is pretty reasonable, but it is more of a novelty than a real game, and the replay value is pretty much nil unless you want to memorize some obscure facts and come back to it to improve your grade.
great game!
The earth is round =/= True "I was told you're favorite color is blue." = Correct Still kinda enjoyable 3/10 (maybe more fun if you went to school in America)
We have received a key to play this game so that we can discuss it. The game is perfect to play with friends and family. At first the questions might seem simple but they begin to get a lot harder. You can change the timer to make it more challenging. The music and the chalk board layout make this relaxing for any atmosphere. The design and mechanics of the game make it easy to pick up and accessible. You will be surprised to find out how much you don't remember about grade school. It is priced perfectly for the value you get and it is re-playable. The fact that there is Steam cards is definitely an added bonus. I hope to see DLC and future sequels to this game.
