As much as I would like to recommend meditation and mindfulness games, I cannot recommend this in its current form. The default settings, which I am having trouble changing (if you even can) basically consist of a few words of instruction followed by either a slideshow of images or a basic video. It fails to be either a game or a meditation app. If you want a meditation game that won't rob you 15$ check out Playne. I felt that this program has potential, but needs serious UI and gamifying overhaul to genuinely be useful and not another mindfulness gimmick.
A nice and relaxing game. It managed to made me relax and to be able to concentrate more. Also, the music in nice.
THIS GAME IS NOT WORTH $100.
A nice and easy-to-use meditation tool. I didn't even know there are so many different ways to meditate.
PROS: - It has a visible effect, as I've became slightly more calm and focused on what I do. It didn't completely changed my life, but I didn't use it for that long either, so there is that. - It has a large variety of techniques - Technique chaining, which I think it will increases overall effectiveness of meditation - AWESOME visuals & music CONS: - Lacks an OS notification feature to remind me to meditate - There is no mobile version ---- If you're into applications like Calm or Headspace you should definitely give Gamitate a chance.
loved the game it was nice and relaxing for some down time to myself :D
Finally, the price is adequate. Good app, a lot of meditations, with explanations before and after, so you'll have an idea what you should do and what tot do with the experience you had. Try the demo.
I've really taken to this. A really calming game, with a blend of meditation and mindfulness, all backed up by a gorgeous soundtrack and some really nice visuals. Less a game, and more an experience, but a delightfully relaxing experience.
