Levels

Levels is a free to play Virtual Reality First Person Shooter aim trainer experience. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has only 4 maps. You shoot targets with a pistol as fast as you can. Very bare bones program. Try this game for Free, but there are better games than this.

"Levels" barely counts as a game, it's just a barebones VR tech demo with what look like some asset flipped environments. At least the developer didn't have the gall to charge money for this, but then again, why on earth would they put this on Steam at all? There's no real interesting gameplay here, and as we can see from the SteamDB counts, nobody wanted this, either. It wasn't worth my time and I don't think it's worth yours, either. There's far better VR tech demos on Steam if that's the kind of thing you want. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming idustry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Игра идеально подходит для коротких перерывов или вечернего отдыха, когда хочется расслабиться и немного потренировать мозг. Иногда, правда, решения кажутся несколько неочевидными, и приходится полагаться на метод проб и ошибок. Возможно, небольшие подсказки для начинающих игроков могли бы улучшить общее впечатление. Тем не менее, я рекомендую 'Levels' всем любителям головоломок, которые ищут что-то простое, но увлекательное. Это достойное приложение для любителей жанра.
