一部小小的作品,见证一个小小的女孩的一生。 用文字互动很有趣,就是不同结局回收起来有点麻烦,不过本身流程就不长。 还是推荐!

Really cute and sweet game :)
This game was wholesome, the story was great, and the art style was really cute! However, the platforming element got very irksome for me quickly. I didn't really enjoy that aspect. That being said, I still had a great experience with this game and recommend it! The story made it worth it!
Es una aventura corta, pero con una historia muy entretenida. La toma de decisiones es un modo interesante de cambiar ligeramente la historia.
Beautiful game about how life takes it's turns and passes! It was a very fun puzzle-and-story experience, I loved both figuring out the location and seeing how the story goes and how emotions are portrayed through the letters, I liked it a lot.
Letters – A Written Adventure is a beautifully crafted indie game that offers a unique blend of storytelling and puzzle-solving, setting itself apart with an innovative approach to narrative gameplay. Developed by 5am Games GmbH and published in collaboration with PID Games, this title invites players to step into the shoes of Sarah, a shy young girl growing up in Switzerland during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Through a series of pen pal letters and chat conversations, the game unfolds a deeply personal and relatable coming-of-age story that explores themes of friendship, identity, and the sometimes challenging process of growing up. What truly sets Letters apart is its inventive gameplay mechanic that revolves around words themselves. Players don’t just read the story; they interact with it by manipulating individual words—breaking them apart and recombining them to solve puzzles and unlock the next segments of Sarah’s journey. This word-based puzzle system is not only clever but also deeply immersive, requiring players to think creatively about language and meaning in a way that feels fresh and rewarding. It transforms what could have been a simple visual novel into an engaging mental challenge that complements the emotional weight of the story. Visually, Letters embraces a nostalgic and hand-crafted aesthetic that perfectly matches its heartfelt narrative. The game features delicate pixel art and hand-drawn illustrations that evolve as Sarah ages, creating a strong sense of time passing and personal growth. These visuals are not just static images but include charming animations that bring Sarah’s sketches to life, adding a whimsical and intimate touch to the overall experience. This careful attention to artistic detail helps draw players deeper into Sarah’s world, evoking both the innocence of childhood and the bittersweet complexity of adolescence. Beyond its artistic and gameplay innovations, Letters stands out for its willingness to tackle difficult and sometimes uncomfortable subjects. The story doesn’t shy away from portraying real-life issues such as family dysfunction, peer pressure, verbal abuse, mental illness, and even more serious matters like prescription drug abuse and suicidal thoughts. These themes are handled with sensitivity and respect, adding layers of emotional realism to Sarah’s narrative. This mature storytelling approach gives the game a depth that resonates with players, making Sarah’s experiences feel authentic and meaningful. Another compelling aspect of Letters is its branching narrative structure, which allows player choices to shape Sarah’s development and influence the story’s direction. This non-linear approach invites multiple playthroughs, encouraging players to explore different paths and outcomes. The choices feel impactful, contributing to a sense of agency that enhances engagement with the story. This design decision also adds considerable replay value, as players may want to revisit the game to uncover all the nuances and possibilities hidden within Sarah’s life. In summary, Letters – A Written Adventure offers a rare combination of innovative word-based gameplay and deeply personal storytelling, wrapped in a nostalgic yet evocative visual style. It manages to balance whimsy and seriousness, inviting players to reflect on the joys and struggles of growing up in a way that feels both intimate and universal. For those who appreciate narrative-driven games that challenge the mind while touching the heart, Letters stands out as a memorable and emotionally rich experience that lingers well beyond its final scene. 英文版的文字游戏,别出心裁的玩法。翻看主角的日记本并进行交互,很有童趣。
This game really surprised me. I wasn't sure what I was thinking when I bought it, but when I played it I found it really novel. I've never played a game like this one! You move around a bunch of text (a conversation, an article, an ad, a spam window, files) and solve simple puzzles to move characters out of your way to access new words on the screen. I finished it in two sittings. I think it was a little fiddly at times, but I didn't use a controller. That may have smoothed it out, not sure. When I picked it up the second time it felt much easier, so maybe it was on me. In any case, if this interests you, go for it, it's not a hard or long game. Blue ribbon <3 thanks, friends. HOWEVER~!! I will say that I didn't pay no darn $15 for this game, and it isn't worth that much. I played it multiple times to get all achievements, and have 3 hours on record (and tbh, I think I left it open a minute). There is no replay value. This is a $5 and under buy.
