Letters - a written adventure

An innovative way to tell a story, and the gameplay works really well with the narrative. It would have been a masterpiece if it covers a much longer period of the protagonist's life. It truly has the potential to be five times longer than it is now and be truly moving. It's a pity that the game simply ends when the story's just about to get serious. As if all the real challenges in the protagonist's life are just minor nuisances and can be overcome automatically. Still a good game though.

A short little story game with some genuinely fun choices throughout. I liked both the mechanics and the story, and the way the game presents everything helped keep it engaging the whole way through. It’s not super long or life-changing, but it’s charming and easy to enjoy for what it is. I’d say it’s definitely worth picking up if you can get it for under $5.

420老大之前送我的游戏！在愿望单内有一些日子了，非常感谢能玩到呀。 总体来说游玩体验还是蛮不错的，操作手感尚佳。唯一比较值得吐槽的一点事只能向上跳不能向下跳，对于这种需要你上下去找单词的游戏来说徒增不必要的负担。（不过也不是可以理解，毕竟解密时开路形式的，如果可以向下的话感觉在各种层面上更难设计）。 故事性5/10吧，没什么深刻的，甚至有点槽多无口的经典西方青春疼痛/家庭疼痛。故事有做较大的拆分，勉强算的上是加分项。 美术很统一并且也有着自己的特色，和letters的主题也比较契合。不是很戳我但是足够令人身心舒适。一些色彩表达情绪的处理很有趣。 解密比较简单，甚至贴心的提供了官方线索。英文词汇日常，我估摸应该四六级水平可以无障碍玩。游戏内一周目后提供复制存档和选择章节的功能，方便打全成就。 综合而言是一个不错的闲暇时间放松选择。

Bem curtinho, mas uma mecânica bem divertida de jogar! A história é honestamente muito legal e dá vontade de terminar e imediatamente jogar novamente pra ver outros resultados. Além de ser divertido, o jogo se apresenta como uma oportunidade de (pra quem quiser) aprender um pouco mais de inglês, já que uma das mecânicas é uma palavra virar outra. No mais, minha recomendação é: jogue palavras em toda situação possível! O jogo vai te recompensar de maneira divertida pelo esforço. Enfim, o jogo te deixa explorar bastante e ser bem criativo.

Short but fun little casual game. (full playthrough + 100% achievements under 3 h) Entertaining and creative gameplay mechanics, very easy to learn/play. Kinda like a 2D platformer with an slightly emotional story and small word puzzles. A bit of a nostalgia trip for y2k ppl 4/5 ****

一部小小的作品，见证一个小小的女孩的一生。 用文字互动很有趣，就是不同结局回收起来有点麻烦，不过本身流程就不长。 还是推荐！

喜欢！4h结束了一周目，是马尾辫萨拉。小女孩的成长故事，无中文（因为是英语的文字游戏）。不过注定懒得玩二周目👉👈

A really nice game, very appealing art style, interesting characters, word puzzles that aren't too easy, and lots to discover when you try things out – I wish it could have been longer
