Let Them Come is a fast paced pixel art shoot ‘em up. Twitchy trigger fingers and focused battle tactics are the order of the day as wave after wave of alien-like creatures try to take you down.

simple briliant game to relax
I really wanted to like this cause I was looking for a casual/short turn your brain off type of game, but this required basically zero braincells. Basically boils down to hold down LMB and buy a few upgrades.
It is what it says on the tin. They come, you shoot them down, you come.

Si.
Recommended Let Them Come did not grab me immediately. At first, I thought I understood it: sit still, shoot aliens, keep the screen clear. Simple enough. Then the game started asking more of me. This is a fast-paced pixel-art shoot ’em up about surviving wave after wave of alien creatures, with loadout customization, tactical enemy patterns, and boss fights that demand more than just holding the trigger down. Once it gets going, it gets really fun. The rhythm of clearing the screen, managing threats, and chaining the right tools together gives the game a surprisingly tactical bite. What I like most is that it rewards precision and smart combos. You can brute-force the regular waves for a while by keeping the screen clean, but the bosses are where the game stops letting you autopilot. You have to pay attention. You have to learn patterns. You have to actually respect what is happening in front of you. That said: I hated the second boss. Not in a cute “haha this is tough” way. More in the “alright, we are doing this now, apparently” way. It felt like the point where the game’s demands jumped harder than I expected, and I had to decide whether I was willing to meet it there. Turns out, I was. Recommended if … You like arcade shooters with tactical loadouts, pixel gore, chunky weapons, and wave-based pressure that becomes more thoughtful than it first appears. Not recommended if … You want a pure power fantasy where clearing mobs is enough, or if boss difficulty spikes make you bounce off a game fast. What it is: A grimy, fast-paced pixel shooter where you hold the line against waves of alien monsters using upgraded weapons, ammo types, and tactical tools. What it nails: The game feels great once the combat rhythm clicks Clearing waves has that nasty little arcade satisfaction Loadouts and combos matter more than expected It rewards paying attention instead of just spraying bullets The presentation has strong “small game with teeth” energy Where it slips: The second boss can feel like a nasty difficulty spike It takes a little time to understand what the game actually wants from you Early impressions may undersell how tactical it becomes Final call: Let Them Come grew on me. I came in expecting a simple alien shooter and found a sharper, meaner, more tactical arcade game than I was ready for. It is fun when it gets moving, frustrating when it digs in, and satisfying when you finally start speaking its language.
