This is an Otome game with well-praised CGs and fappable storyline. Knight Adelaide, as the captain of her Order, was cast mysterious spells by a magician when she was on a mission. And because of this, how would unspeakable events happen to her?

Bad. The language is way off. It's difficult to understand what the characters are talking about without having to put effort into interpreting the words in a way the sentences start to somewhat make sense. The pronouns shifted back and forth between genders not only for the main character
who apparently was taught and thinks herself that born a woman in a family of royalty with no male heir to the throne is a disgrace and she needs to hide her true sex for the sake of her father and the whole kingdom
, but also for the romanceable characters in the game. The abundance of question marks used (even when there were no questions asked) are highly distracting and irritating! Even though you can set the game to English, the language for the achievements never changes so I actually had to look for a guide to tell me what is needed to be done to get the achievements to unlock all of them myself. One romanceable character is especially hateable and got me easily annoyed, which resulted in my only quickly reading through his story to get it over with. The main character is your typical, insecure "damsel in distress" with no personality and quite the weak mind who apologizes for things she didn't do/weren't her fault/should make her mad and take action instead. Sometimes the characters' names changed in the middle of the game, then back to the "original" name which was also distracting. There is smut in this game, but only for the sake of smut being there. It happens very suddenly and with no buildup and the longer I played this game the less I wanted to play on. Intimate moments were described disgustingly and I'm not entirely sure they went consensually most of the time except for the scene with
Marlowe who, despite cursing her and starting the whole story, was perfectly sweet, asking for permission repeatedly and worrying about her and being kind
. 1.5/10 Only because the characters were drawn beautifully and Marlowe who, compared to the other aspects of the game, was the best part of it all. Can't recommend.
So the only reason I'm giving this game a thumbs up is because of the patch fixing the translation. If you want to play this game, that patch is a must because the base translation is literally just a google translate/papago machine translation and it seriously gave me a headache by the first 5 minutes...It's kinda embarassing to release a visual novel in this state so i have no justification for the publishers, nobody would want to give money for a badly translated product. You can find the patch fix in Steam's community content...if you already own the game before it got removed I guess. That said, the game itself is really cute. It's nothing mindblowing, it's quite short, but Adelaide is a really strong heroine and I can say with absolute certainty that if this was longer and more complex she'd be one of the best otome game heroines out there. The love interests are kinda bland but entertaining enough, at least Phil and Yufia, Marlowe is the obvious golden boy of this game, king of consent, period. Phil was probably my least favorite because i felt like a pedo everytime he opened his mouth, but maybe that's me... lol Anyway, thumbs up for the game itself, thumbs down for the original translation.
Nul comme histoire
Felt pretty short, rushed and if not for fan's english translation translation, I wouldn't recommend playing this. Thumbs up for the art though. Art: 8/10(pretty good) Plot: 2/10(had lots of potential but someone was too lazy to finish writing) Characters: 4/10(this is the score after the fan translation otherwise 1/10 for both plot and characters) Sounds: 9/10(amazing) Overall: 5.75.
Fleursword is an interesting visual novel that would benefit greatly from a better translation and an extended storyline. Having to reread certain dialogues because suddenly a He become a She or dialogue punctuation is a ? when the text isn't a question feels weird. Why ? Because the story being too short cause every events to happen too fast, i struggled to truly feel attached to the romance choices. It also made the protagonist feel like a damsel in distress which, for a knight captain, feels pretty dumb (Too easily resigned to her fate). There's also a lack of choices de make, you'll only have in total 3 choices in the entire games that will lead you to the 4 differents endings. But let's talk about the characters shall we ? Phil, Youfia, Marlowe and the main character, Adelaid : Phil your small aide, is cute but for the reason i stated higher we don't explore much of his personality, it's pointed out in the game that he behave differently when he's not with you and it would've been an interesting plot point to dwelve into. One part i, however, didn't liked was how forcefull he felt when he went down on Adelaid. This type of forced relation doesn't sit right by me. Youfia the childhood friend, act cold and rude then suddenly not ? It was so sudden i seriously thought his personality wasn't properly established. You might wonder why i say this about Youfia while i encouraged to explore the personality gap of Phil, it's because in Phil's case it's establised, people recognize and point out to it and it's not a 180° change of his personality. Meanwhile in Youfia's case, it's a complete 180° for basically no reason. I did appreciate the small conflict he and Adelaid had but once more restrained by the story length. Marlowe the antagonist magician that is clearly the favorite of the dev(s) of this game which feel extremely unfair to the other characters. It's the most developped character but not exempt from flaws, the romance happen a tad too fast. No real tension with anything, he cause the curse and then ? He let himself get arrested and even help cure the curse HE CAUSED with no real resistance like... ok ? Adelaid the main character is, for a lack of better words, boring. She speak of struggles but you don't see it, she's stupidely kind for no reason, spoken off as a person of great achievement but you see none, resign to her cursed fate too easily claiming some self-sacrifice for a threat that is non existent and when she's cured, pretend she was oh so scared but we are playing from her point of view and at no point express such fear in her thought or action AND THEN NO MATTER THE ROMANCE, she would be quick to renounce her position in the knight that, may i remind you, SHE WORKED SO HARD FOR, to be a housewife. The RPG style sprite were nice to give some dynamism to the story although multiple time i was confused about whether the location was indoor or outdoor because the dialogues were confusing about it. The CG arts are good (maybe an uncensored version ? Yes i'm a perv), kindda wish there was more CGs though in general. No voice acting is always a shame but considering the price of the game that would be asking for too much. Conclusion : I do recommend the game, it's not expensive and it'll last you a few hours. It has a lot of flaws but i want to encourage the dev(s) to keep working and become better. It has potentials that would benefit from a reworking if i'm to be honest. I grabbed the game during a sale, in a pack, for pretty much nothing and i don't feel like i wasted my money.
Now that this game has a decent translation (and also, it cannot be bought on Steam...) it is worth playing! The graphics are cute, the story isn't that deep but fairly good, and the steamy scenes are better. I wish it had gotten the translation it deserved from the start.
