About
LEMURIA is a third-person shooter with action elements, set against the backdrop of street riots and the outbreak of a deadly epidemic. Players will take on the roles of two protagonists — veteran Alex Rain and adventurer Kanta Anora — whose fates intertwine through a series of unexpected events.
Alex, trying to cope with the shadows of his past, faces not only real dangers but also projections of his own fears. His post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) causes him to question the reality of events; every new situation triggers memories of forgotten horrors, making him believe he is back on the battlefield — and he throws himself into that fight. Alex avoids old friends, invents imaginary romances with women he randomly encounters, and tries to impose his truth on everyone.
Kanta, on the other hand, creates chaos around her even in the simplest situations. She has a restless spark, a tendency toward nymphomania, and constantly seeks thrills. Every interaction she has is a game where the rules exist only to allow her to test boundaries. Even the most innocent tasks can spark a real storm, and her unbridled thirst for adventure often puts everything at risk.
Intense firefights with the option to choose between direct confrontation or careful progression.
Dialogue-based cutscenes that reveal the characters' personalities and drive the narrative forward.
An uncompromising atmosphere inspired by 80s VHS action movies, complemented by adult content elements.
Customizable gameplay, allowing players to tailor the experience to their preferences.
Diverse game locations: the nightmare of a medical quarantine; the chaos of the streets in an ethnic enclave; the scorching heat of the Middle East; the labyrinths of the villains’ hideout; the deceptive safety of wealthy suburbs; a forest road motel turned massacre site; and the illusory world of fantasies.
The 2.0 update reintroduced previously cut scenes, a new full voiceover, and numerous improvements.
LEMURIA offers a refined experience for several evenings, where players will face moral dilemmas and immerse themselves in a tense world where every step could be their last. This is the first part of an exciting adventure series.

I liked it a lot. It is an interesting and diverse shooter that offers addictive gameplay, dynamic shootouts, dialogs and cutscenes. If you like third-person shooters with adventure elements, you should like this game. And Kanta is just delightful!
Get this + DLC if you're into obscure indie games or things like Samurai Cop, nudity and the whole "so bad it's good" trope, otherwise hell no. Pros: + It sure has soul and captures the schlocky B (or C?) movie feel it aims for Cons: - Gameplay is broken to the point of being almost unplayable - The UI is a horrible mess - Characters move like 18th century automatons - The story is a sequence of WTF dialogues obviously outlined in the developer's native language and then translated word for word into english and spoken by monochordic AI voices, yielding some hilarious and mind boggling moments.
Very strange game. It seems in this day and age with so many years having gone by since Pong came out that even low budget games would be of reasonable quality. I don't know of anyone who talks like a robot in real life, so why in the name of all that is sacred does every single character in this game sound like the 1960s robot from Lost In Space reruns? These are real people adding their robot voices to the game! Really? It's beyond annoying. The graphics are terrible, as well. The screenshots look far, FAR better than the game itself, and I have a GeForce RTX 3080, so that definitely isn't the problem. That good-looking, long-haired brunette in the screenshots is pixelated like an old blocky character from the first Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights games. Sadly, all these problems detract from the immersion of the game immensely. I have 1 hour playtime on record, and that is where it is going to stay. I cannot attempt to remain engaged in something like this when there are so many much better games out there (and in my collection) that were made a decade or more ago, visually and audibly. And the mechanics were off-the-chart terrible! Not to mention, the story was kind of stupid, too! The clowns at amQuests need to go back to game-making school! This game sucks big, green, donkey balls!
It's a strange game. If you like cheesy games, you may like this one. It's like a C class movie. Goofy characters, situations, bad plot, bad dialogs, soulless AI voices, mediocre gameplay. The scenery has poor assets, poor textures. But above all, the game takes it seriously, like some bad performer that take his job like he's really doing well his part. There's even a demo, so you can see what's the game is all about, no surprises there. And still, I enjoyed the time spent. To be honest, there are so many better games than deserve more attention than this one, for every aspect of this game has, but I wanted to tell you what was my experience.
Well-developed characters. A road-movie style plot in which the process is more important than the end point. 2 control modes: general, similar to the controls in interactive movie games, and combat, very soft and comfortable. I liked it.
