Short and sweet, well worth the price of admission!
I love the game art style, it's beautiful, combat feels fun, but the dash is horrible and movement doesn't feel responsive. The major deal breaker for me is the poor performance of this game, i have an intel 12900k and rtx 3090 but the game runs at 30fps on 4k, i must play in 1080p and even that only gets me 120fps. The camera is also bad. As much as i love the combat, everything else is just horrible.
I'll try most games for $5. But honestly, Galaia is one of the best mini-roguelikes I have played in a long, long time. Well worth the money. I love the megashot mechanic and building around that is a ton of fun and felt really refreshing. This is much more than "just another roguelike." Highly recommend this one.

Game is really simple to understand. The more You play, more interesting it becomes - better upgrades, increased ways to destroy enemies. Good game for quick sessions.
Short but sweet twin stick shooter. It honestly almost didn't feel like a roguelite with how short the metaprogression was, but i'm sure that's a plus for plenty of people. What I personally liked about the game was the dash/reload mechanic completed by your last shots doing significantly more damage, giving you reason to not dodge until your clip is out. That's a pretty clever mechanic I haven't seen before. The little hidden spots you find were pretty nice too. Overall i'd definitely recommend it for the price.
I keep trying games with great art and polish but absurd design decisions that make them simply unfun. Who thought it was a good idea to force the reload of your 6 bullet gun with a dash.. and the only bullet that does actual damage is the last one? Such a ridiculous and clunky system. I feel bad that so much hard work went to waste.
So first and foremost, I've really enjoyed the game and it was a pleasure to find the mechanics to unlocking all the relics. Unfortunately I'm not really seeing myself replaying the game until more features, achievements, relics, etc. are implemented, because the gameplay-loop is a bit lacking. Also i wish there was more variety in the general upgrading of the character, so there's a possibility for more builds and generally more variety to explore. I really hope there will be more content to come, since i enjoy the artstyle and general gameplay.
haha roguelitunic
engaging and addictive experience!! hard at start but the improvement with each run and secrets to discover make you unable to stop!! the art is really pretty too!
Very nice bullethell roguelite. I really enjoed the progression and various perks it gives, I also like bullethells, although this game is kind of simple on that side. A number of secrets promise some time to be spend in order to see everything in the game. Ofcourse the content is pretty limited, but it totally worth the price. Would recommend if you want a bit of relaxing exploration with nice graphics and some rewarding action.
