For people who: like the atmosphere of oldschool Zelda games and Metroidvenias, with a really cool and intuituve weapon system AND co-op play Nintendo-style. For everyone else: You should check it out anway (there is a demo). Especially if you dig deeper into the developer's journey and you realize that most of this game has been done by one person. That's just mindblowing. There is so much love in the detail and curious explorers get rewarded like all the time. The co-op is perfect if you are playing with people who are not necessarily fans of action adventures, but would like to join you anyway. Perfect for families and kids. The texts also remind me of oldschool Nintendo games, with a sensitive mix between epos and humour. Can't wait to dig deeper and find more epic gear.

Leif's Adventure is a wonderful indie game that mixes action, exploration and charming characters! You can feel the developer’s passion in the little details of the world and chars. The gameplay is smooth and creative, with a perfect blend of action and puzzle-solving. I love the gorgeous cutscenes – they’re like watching a beautifully animated story unfold <3 It's an exciting experience that’s definitely worth checking out for fans of handcrafted adventures!

Finally a co-op platformer metroidvania!!!! I played a lot of metroidvania HK, Prince of Persia TLC, Metroid Dread, Blasphemous II, Death's Gambit and I enjoyed them all, all really great games! Still I had the problem that my son wanted to play them as well and the games are way too difficult for him. And now finally I've found a game I can play with him together and the best part is: he won't be frustrated about the difficulty! That doesn't mean that Leif's Adventure is not difficult! It can be pretty challenging at times! The art and the humor in the game make it also accessible for kids (don't understand the age rating 12, but somebody surely knows better than me). With the different weapons you get some variety and can try out which weapon is the best for you to beat an opponent, especially the boss ones! The **best** part is the ghost coop mode though! When your partner is playing the ghost, he/she can stun opponents, gather items for you or do some other actions for the player of Leif. While you can do that in singleplayer as well, I find it's working **way better** in the coop mode! So if you're looking for a coop platformer metroidvania I can totally recommend Leif's Adventure, especially for players who like to play games, but might have hard times with the difficulty!

Nice coming-of-age story with charming graphics. Haven tried co-op yet, but it's fun so far! I also just found out this was made by a solo dev, which is insane to me.

Great game! The ghost sidekick is such a fresh gameplay mechanic. Awesome boss fights. Lots of neat little sidequests. Only played single player but I bet it's tons of fun in coop. Runs great on Steam Deck.

A very fun adventure game! The charming characters you meet in just the first two hours of the game won me over instantly. Every character you talk to has a unique personality, some even made me laugh out loud. I especially enjoyed the German translations. The game also rewards exploration in such a satisfying way. Finding hidden areas or interactions felt like uncovering little treasures, each packed with surprises that made the world feel alive and full of secrets. You can tell so much heart and effort went into this. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves indie games with charm and personality!

Leif's Adventure: Netherworld Hero is a fun game! I don't like the bats but they are all one hit so ill let that slide. I haven't had any troubles except for the hammer being slow (which i can also let slide as it makes sense) 10/10
