About
Legacy - Reawakening is a point-and-click adventure inspired by the classics of the '90s. Explore mysterious locations, solve puzzles, and uncover the secrets of a long-lost world.
You play as an explorer transported to an ancient ruin hidden beneath a mountain. As you dig deeper into the ruins, you discover a massive machine—an ancient robot that has lost all memory of its past. By solving puzzles and finding memory shards scattered throughout the temple, you slowly help it remember what happened here… and why you were brought to this place.

Legacy Reawakening is a complicated “escape the cave” game. You land in an underground warren of ancient symbols and broken machinery. Your goal is to awaken a giant robot and this requires solving many puzzles to restore manufacturing equipment and replace his broken heart. If you enjoy games like House of Da Vinci or Pyramids and Aliens, then this may be a great choice for you. The only characters you encounter are a robot and a bird. The story is told through a series of memories which are delivered as text to read. While the narrative is slim, the scope of the environment and the diversity of puzzles are more than enough to keep you thinking for many hours. The game saves on exit and, with one exception, achievements are automatically earned as the game progresses. What makes Legacy Reawakening so nice to play is the usability features. There is an in-game camera so you can photograph clues rather than using a pencil and paper. As you explore, a map is revealed that lets you fast-travel between locations and shows whether or not each area has been completed. Best of all, there is an incremental help system. While a video for every puzzle solution can be accessed, what I liked was that it tells you where your next task is. This saves a lot of time without spoiling too much of the challenge. Many puzzles have clues in the same area. As the game progresses, you begin to find objects in one location that are needed in another or an action in one area will have an impact elsewhere. Some of these are explained by cut scenes but others require revisualizing the many places you’ve been. This is where the hint system came in handy. I enjoyed this game. The puzzles were quite fair, with only a few that had me scratching my head. It was fun to see ancient manufacturing come to life and awaken the robot. it is hard to imagine that Legacy Reawakening was developed by a very small team. Puzzle game, adventure, challenging, 3D. We will play as an explorer who ventures beneath a mountain and discovers ancient ruins. As he advances, he finds himself in an underground city where an isolated people lived, protected by columns and a giant guardian. But now what he sees is desolation, the machines are turned off, only silence reigns, while the great Robot lies abandoned in front of the sealed door. Its heart has been torn out, and its memories have been scattered throughout the halls of this world... What happened? Why did the Guardian deactivate? What lies beyond that great door? Our task is to find all six memories scattered throughout the various locations and reactivate all the machines. The locations are deserted, and dialogues will only take place with the guardian. There's not much adventure, just DIFFICULT puzzles and riddles. Even the clues to solve them aren't obvious. In my opinion, it takes a certain amount of imagination to figure out where they got the numbers to use as codes. There's not much logic; you have to think outside the box. There's a "hint-solution" button and a handy map with numbered locations to help you find your way around and navigate quickly. A green checkmark appears in the top right if you've completed everything. The graphics are good, the 3D system lets you look around in all directions, and saves are automatic. I recommend it for those who enjoy a challenge and have patience. There are many locations to visit and the machines are strange, so it requires a medium-high difficulty. I do not agree with other reviews. And I have played dozens of point and click adventure games. Yes, the graphics are GOOD; the puzzles are many but difficult in the logic of how to. But there is no adventure or story flow to this game....going from one room to another with no idea on what to do and virtually no hints. I know the Steam store page states it is an adventure point and click but I felt more like this game just had me wandering around not sure what or where to do something. Better said...to quote reviewer Foucal: "Add to that puzzles with sometimes questionable logic or one WITHIN the other (and not consecutively), clues that aren't always clearly visible (they're outside the picture), puzzles within puzzles (traps, really), etc." A good point and click adventure puzzle game flows well in accordance with a story and puzzles are relative to the flow (I am not saying it needs to be linear). Look at Syberia-the world before and Amerzone....great point and click adventure games that flow very well with a very relevant story to game play. I played this game for 3 hours but cannot play any more...uninstalled.
So far, I like this game very much. Just enough challenge (I'm on "normal") and the mechanics work well.
Good little game full of complex puzzles. Felt like some of the classic point-and-click puzzle adventure games though not really an adventure in the sense of exploring vast worlds. Felt more like a single-building puzzle exploration, similar to "Shivers" or "The Eyes of Ara".
Great game and fantastic puzzles, graphics are also very good. I totaly disagree with the one negative review here. Play it on hard and you will have a lot of fun and headscratching to do. For the money its a no brainer. If you love puzzle games you wil not disapointed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finaly finised You cant play this game on hard, needed a lot of hints coz its get harder and harder, so keep that hintbutton on screen.
A very, very hard game.. Feels like you need to be a grandmaster with these kind of puzzles. I loved it, even though i needed to use ALOT of hint's. Recommended!
A seriously impressive puzzle game you should not sleep on
Difficulty: ★★★★☆ This is an underrated hidden gem you should not miss. The puzzles are surprisingly fun, well designed and interconnected, the environments are fleshed out and integrated into the puzzles. This is not an easy game, there are some very tricky stuff that’s either easy to miss, require some logic leaps or backtracking, so observation, notes and screenshots will help you a lot (I underestimated the game by not taking notes). The lore is actually quite good, not the craziest I’ve seen but it gets the job done. The hint system is generally very good, and will help you nudging in the right direction if you feel stuck or don’t know where to look, as the more you progress, the more convoluted the game feels. Maybe all you missed is some hard to see scribble on the wall that’s bottlenecking your progress. There are some things I actively don’t like about the game, like the map which is unnecessarily confusing and tangled (even though I like the fast travel option), and the UI feels extremely dated and rough around the edges. But still, I can forgive some of the jank that inevitably comes with being a solo dev project, and this is very impressive work in this context.
8.5/10
Good puzzles, tricky, hard to stop when you're on a roll.
