About

Legacy is a single player fantasy RPG. Inspired by games like Fable, Stronghold, Sims 4 and Civilization, Legacy puts you in the middle of the kingdom you are building. You will need to gather resources, build a great many different structures and research new technologies if your kingdom is to prosper. You cannot control other NPCs, however you can assign them jobs and give them orders and dress them however you want. You play the leader of a tribe and if they should die before naming an heir you can select an NPC to play.

A year in game is about three hours of play time so you have plenty of time to develop your characters. As your legacy continues, you pass on traits through your genealogy and through training. In Legacy you live as the king or queen in your kingdom. You make the rules and your citizens do your bidding. As more options get added your control will span across the people through laws, edicts and even through judgements made. Exploration, city building, character development, combat and diplomacy how you play is how you build your legacy.

In time as your kingdom grows you will discover fascinating places in your land. You can train your troops, outfit them it the best gear you have and set out for adventure with dreams of great spoils and better gear. Losing people in battle however, can have devastating consequences. A good soldier might take days to condition and train.

Similar to other RPGs you need to make or loot better and better gear to take on bigger bosses. Some bosses require you to have help. So you will need to gear out your citizens and build an army. Although multiplayer is intended down the road, early on you'll be building raiding parties to lead into battle.

This game is being made available in the pre-alpha stage for you who like the medieval city building genre so you can enjoy the game as it progresses at a lower price than the finished version. Each major update will be adding more buildings, gameplay, races, mobs and bosses.

As the game develops past the initial release of version 1.0, updates will bring more expansions to the Legacy universe. The overall idea is to have a game where you start with a few people in the stone age and advance them all the way into a futuristic space age. Along with free updates we also plan to release DLC packs that offer different styles and types of objects that will appeal to different genres.

I love the environment style. Not much to do in an early state, very sandbox right now, but I do like what they have added so far.
Not ready for release. Still might be good but not enough to it yet.
Killed a herd of deer, built a town and I haven't even started the game yet!
This is obviously early access not polished at all like most early access games. There are a lot of glitches but I love where you are going with this idea!!! Please please please keep this project going! I wish I could dig but I love how open world it is. The world is huge! If you want a finished game wait and buy it for $60 when its done but if you want to watch a game grow from the beginning this is well worth $5. That's all I have to say.
Not much to fight and there is not much progression challenge in the game yet. I have to give it a thumbs up because there is a lot of sandbox in this already and it looks great! I recommend because I have spent 6 hours building a village and I love my village. It just needs more monsters to fight.
Good game, needs more stuff, very relaxing, great fantasy look. I love the music and the sunrise. Game just needs more stuff to do.
This game is very similar to the game "Kingdoms" by Oreal. Only thing different I have seen is graphics style. It seems to be a really cool game so far, the GFX aren't fleshed out yet but the sandbox features are there. I am a bit worried as I just bought this game in Dec 2024, and last update was July 2024. It would be sad if the devs abandoned it as it is already a great game. Please don't stop developing this! **Update** Not worried anymore its being updated!
Yes I recommend! I have played for 24 hours and it felt like 3.. I love the fantasy environment and get lost in making my own tasks. I am okay with questing but not having any and just being able to do whatever is better. Note: this game is buggy. Really buggy! Even with bugs this game is addictive.
Easy gameplay, it's addictive. The graphics are quite nice, but the animations are crooked. There is still a lot of work to be done on the game. I hope the author can handle it.
Cool fantasy RPG with plenty of time to be spend.
