I remember playing this back then and having super fun online matches, good times, just now remembered about this game Even with the servers down, bot matches are ok to play, but they don't buy items, which is sad, if they did, it would be a very great single player game on its own Glad this version is still playable, but there's a "remake" on https://leagueofpixels.eu It's an update in every aspect of the game, and I wish that version was on Steam too... Though, since I'm from Brazil and servers are only NA, EU and SEA, I can only play with very high ping even vs bots There's also a Discord server so it's easier to find matches there since you cannot even play this one online anymore, and the game's still active, getting updates up to this day

"League of Pixels - 2D MOBA" is a garbage, abandoned attempt at making a "MOBA", by which the developer here does not mean "MOBA" but means "crap 2D retro pixel arena brawler". I just have to say it's now great that Steam is warning gamers about abandoned Early Access projects, but I guess that means the shonky developers behind them will just do token 20kb updates to keep the can kicking down the road. Which will really make it harder to detect when they're being shady. Anyway. What do you do in the game? You don't do anything because there's no players. If there were players you'd have a bad time anyway. We don't need any more garbage amateur 2D platformers on Steam. The developers abandoned this 3 years and 10 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as you're expected to pay up $3 USD to buy cosmetic DLC. Clearly the developer set out to profit from making this game and locking content, even cosmetics, behind DLC while still pretending the game is free is somewhat misleading to gamers. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

This game, is something that a lot of people would call a "masterpiece", every day i go to play a videogame i choose this one and only game, its a shame that riot stole the idea and made a 3d version of this game but whatever, they would never stand up to a game like this good. I recommend this game for every person who likes videogames.

Probably the fourth best game on steam...
