Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Lay of the Land features a physically based crafting and interaction system. Instead of relying solely on menus, items are physically placed and interacted with in the world. Want to make a basic axe? Lay sticks, rope, and flint on the ground and assemble them into a functional tool. Need to cook food? Simply place it into a campfire and let it cook.
Forge new weapons by smelting raw ore, crafting clay molds and casting metal parts. Upgrade your weapons to enhance attributes such as damage, durability, attack speed and more. Infuse them with special elemental effects including fire to burn enemies over time, ice to slow your targets or lightning to chain your attacks to nearby foes.

Reviews
This game is a voxel Teardown style second reincarnation of prime Cube World and the last thing that needs to be done is overwhelming the dev with negativity. This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocks for something made by one guy and I'd say just give it time. Totally worth it, fun, especially for building. Negative reviews act like the game's some sort of mass produced money maker by an indie studio. The price is to support the project while the game's content slowly grows. Do get it, you'll like it, and if you find it boring after a while just let it sit and come back after a few updates for a fresh experience
Fun game with good bones. One of those games that makes me wish for a neutral review. There is an update roadmap, which is promising, but as of now the game feels pretty shallow. Also, devs, please for the love of god, raise the base movement speed up.

the game tells me to throw stuff on the ground to craft, it doesn't tell me how. Don't make me go into the options menu to find the control during the tutorial or I will refund and negatively review your game.
It's in it's early stages atm, but it feels like Minecraft's soulmate. I, personally, find the world seed process a bit restricted atm, but have hopes for it's development. Not yet sure how I feel about how small the voxels are quite yet. I attribute that to bias from playing Minecraft. Overall it's fun, looks great and runs great.
I lost my patience with this pretty quick. My friend bought this for me when it was alpha. I hated it. I will say, it looks pretty great for what it is, it runs really well and there are definitely things to like. Seen it finally released and figured, maybe im just a douche. Nah mate, its tedious. If i want to remember anything, it should be my doc appt or when i have to go to work. Not every recipe, i despise the crafting system. Actual vitrial towards it. It was painful the very first time i did it. I knew i hated this system right away. I placed my first building block, realized its going to be hours to make anything worth a ♥♥♥♥, and im a cave dweller, it can just be a mud hut... But this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. There are digging and building tools to 'help' but they are inaccurate and frustrating to use more so than doing things block by block. Maybe with more time i could get the hang of it, but i already have a profession, i dont need another one. I got killed at the spawn point, before the tutorial, while reading the tutorial, while crafting, while looking at some object trying to figure out what it even is. This was my first 10 mins in game. In 30 mins i realized im going to be dealing with some stupid ♥♥♥♥ the rest of the game. Building is tedious. Digging was tedious. Crafting is tedious. The game is tedious. Its easier to build a house in real life. Dont get me started on my exhaustion about durability for tools in video games. Ive had the same tools to build houses for 20+ years, made of wood. Sick of this ♥♥♥♥, and sick of devs who do this, it adds nothing and takes away everything. Maybe i didnt make it far enough for it 'to get good' but a game shouldnt start with a big ♥♥♥♥ you if thats the case. Ill admit, i have very little patience for ♥♥♥♥ thrown at a wall to see what sticks. I was really hoping that it would pan out, but its terribly unfun. I truly wanted to like this game. But instead i wanted my money back.
Hopefully they keep the updates coming. It just feels like an early access game. Maybe open it up for modding? The foundation is pretty awesome. It just needs some more stuff to do.
I've followed development for a while and wanted to play this game. But, no matter what I do, I literally can't get past the first objective, crafting. Dragging and dropping the items from the inventory to the ground literally doesn't work. Camera angles, terrain, elevation, display/graphic settings, restarting the game, uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing worked. So.. quite literally, can't play the game.
This game is freaking beautiful! And it's solid proof that voxels are some of the most versatile graphics in gaming history. 'Nuff said.
