Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

This game is a flashback to the past! I love the characters as they remind me of final fantasy/ old Nintendo RPG style games. The upgrades are nice and this is challenging and will take me some time to get it down to get through the first level. I have already put in a couple hours and can tell I will enjoy getting through the next few levels. Fun quick game with a challenge!
I really like to old school look and that is what intrigued me to purchase this game. Now I am glad I did because the idea of mixing jrpg and roguelike elements keeps me interested
Fun love letter to final fantasy 1 with some slay the spire DNA spliced in for good measure! The pixel art, both for the party characters and the enemies, is a big highlight. I particularly liked the design of some of the forest monsters made from trees and mushrooms. Combat system feels very classic FF with just enough of a wrinkle in the momentum system to keep things interesting. "Defend" command sometimes feels like an afterthought in old-school jrpgs but it's pretty essential here as it also builds momentum. Balance seems solid overall so far, though some abilities may be overtuned a bit (blue monk's Fists of Fury skill can get pretty insanely strong). The first few unlocks via the obelisk (Lastlore's meta-progression system) make a biiiiiiig difference so if you're getting wiped out early on, hang in there until you can unlock the 4th party slot and start runs with upgraded character slots! Team selection and the order you select them in have a big impact. As far as more critical feedback, I'd love to see controller support down the road, and I think a little more visual feedback on enemy attacks would be great - perhaps even just something like a text description of who the enemy is targeting and with what attack displaying in the UI space next to the party stats. The Obelisk progression was intuitive for me personally but I also play a lot of roguelikes, so something in-game to explain that mechanic (even just another page in the tutorial) would probably be a good idea. All in all it's a fun time and clearly a labor of love!

I bought this because it reminded me of the old Nintendo games that i loved when i was a kid. Thankfully i was not disappointed. I felt like i had gone back in time but with a modern flare. I do recommend this game. It is both challenging and rewarding!
I love the gameplay and old school aesthetic. I was happily surprised with the feature that allows you to unlock new characters. Great game. Would recommend.
Fun RPG game, Unique style. pleasant to play
Feels like an old school SNES game, in a good way. I enjoyed the simplicity of it, while still requiring you to strategize how to get through the game. Definitely takes multiple attempts. Fun and worth it!
great game
Absolutely terrible UI. Almost no animations. I beat the final boss with 3 guys on my third try. Took 55 min. So... not very challenging. This is the kind of game people are referring to when they say "AI slop."
