A retro fantasy RPG with turn-based battles, puzzles, and six unique characters. It's perfect for players who grew up with turn-based RPGs and are looking for a new adventure, and also accessible for new players as it doesn’t take itself too seriously.

This game knows exactly what it is. The Overload mechanic isn't revolutionary. Reminds me a bit of the Bravely Default system in a good way without copying it directly. You aren't going to need to get the Prima Official Strategy Guide to solve the puzzles, and you aren't going to spend 90 hours playing it. It's a turn-based JRPG, and as a fan of turn-based JRPGs, I'm not looking for leaps of innovation in graphics or gameplay, I'm looking for a good execution on a flawless formula, and that's what Magic and Machines is. PROS: - Good $/hr ratio - Good story - Engaging world - Executes turn-based combat well - Well-balanced CONS: - I would like it to be longer, but I can't complain for the price - Environment feels bland in a couple areas - Like most JRPGs, I don't like the party/reserve party mechanic, but that's a personal preference I always get over Ultimately it's a fun bite-sized game that's priced right. If you're on the fence, or just love turn-bases JRPGs, I recommend it.
I had so much fun playing this game! I'll definitely continue playing it. It brought me so much nostalgia, and as a huge fan of JRPGs, this game made me feel happy inside! The music, the characters, and the story make it all worth it! <3
Game has room for some improvements in some ares, but otherwise a good game to get. happy to try it out. I'd say a 8/10. Fairly satisfied with buying this game and playing it
10/10 would recommend, love the nostalgic feel to the mechanics of the game. Absolute steel for the price!
This is a perfect little game to scratch my nostalgia jrpg itch without sunken tens and hundreds of hours into. Simple yet thoughtout battle system, fast leveling, light story all makes it easy to pick up and speed through the game. The music is great, UI is simple but effective, graphic could be better but works, and it's filled with pop culture references and joke, Well worth the entry cost.
Olha pelo q ja joguei gostei o unico BUG q eu notei e q quando passa de 23:59 hrs de jogo ele reinicia a contagem no savegame
