«LAST WAR 2044»
{TL:DR - It's an Active Tower Defense shooter with gameplay that is really frustrating and un-fun from stupidly randomized mechanics. I'd keep away from it.} I love these kinds of games, where you're able to set up towers to defend a point WHILE also being able to run around and defend it on your own as well. I call these kind of games 'Active Tower Defense' games. This is one of those games. Unfortunately, the only thing it shares with it's kin is the genre. Other games such as Sanctum and Iron Grip: Warlord are prime examples of games in this genre, games where you play in a first person perspective, running and gunning while setting up towers and guns to help you shoot things. What makes those games so fun and good? The satisfying and structured gameplay. In those games, you know whats coming. You know what to prepare for, how to setup, and you know exactly how the tools you have work and function. Here? That's not the case. In Last War 2044, the enemies that spawn are completely randomized. You can have giant scorpions one run, or big zombie monsters in another. Now, this wouldn't be so bad if you actually had control over how you fought. There are two things that massively bring this game down, massive flaws that ruined the entire experience. The turrets, and the rate at which you get ammunition for your own weapons. Both of these are completely random. The turrets are just completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ haywire. Imagine the range of a shotgun turret, you know, those guns that only shoot things when they're 3 inches away from it? Those are all of the turrets in this game. Every one of them has the range of a meter. That's it. The first level (which is the only one I could bear to play, I got so frustrated at that point I refunded it.), is literally a tunnel. Just a long tunnel. I thought at first that this would be the PERFECT tutorial level or 'getting the hang of it' level. I thought maybe all of these badass machineguns and miniguns and grenade launchers would fire down the tunnel in a magnificent display? Nope! They wait until the creature is basically kissing them to fire. Sometimes they don't even shoot. I was in a mass of my turrets, probably 10-15 of them around me, and I watched as a monster came up to me and killed me. None of them shot at it. (that's the point I refunded the game). They also get destroyed at the drop of a penny. Maybe 3 hits from zombies that barely have hit animations, and they blow up. It takes maybe 2 seconds for it to go boom, so you wont even have the chance to repair the damn thing. Then your ammo. You're given a multitude of guns at the beginning, and you're told to come back to the spawn point when you need more ammo. This is entirely random. The only weapon thats worth using in this level is your rifle, an AK-47 or AK-74. It gives you 120 bullets and tells you to screw off. I do so, use my ammo, come back, and there was nothing waiting for me. Okay, maybe I need to wait a couple of waves? I come back, there is a single pack of pistol ammo waiting for me. I wait another wave, it finally gives me ammo (this is after around 5 waves, so at this point, I'm relying on my turrets to protect me because I've run completely dry), but it's literally only one clip. 30 measly bullets. After that, when I returned every wave, it only gave me either pistol bullets or ♥♥♥♥ nothing. Only once did I get it to give me more than 30 bullets, but it was literally only once. How do you expect me to survive when you give me no ammunition, and make the turrets literally useless? I'm the only thing that stands between the thingy I need to defend, and it gives me nothing to defend it with. Thanks! I have no idea if this is the devs first game, but it definitely needs work. I will admit, the concept is cool, kind of like a mix of Metro and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. As I said earlier, I love the idea of active tower defense games, I love defending a point and holding off waves and waves of enemies, it's a neat concept, but the execution here is incredibly poor. I don't even care if the graphics aren't top tier and that the animations are just alright. If the gameplay is frustrating and makes me want to break my keyboard, thats not cool. Maybe if it gets updated, I'll check it out and change my review from there, but if it doesn't? I'd definitely stay away from it.

Не плохая графика, интересный сюжет и богатый выбор оружия.
Post Nuclear War Tower Defense? OK, I played first Mission. In this game you set up defense platforms, then buy weapon turrets or defence structures to place on platforms. The enemy destroys them unless YOU destroy enemy first Turrets only destroyed a couple of the monsters. Got starter weapon and ammo load-out free to start mission. Did not see any ammo resupply. Ammo resupply not mentioned, or I missed something critical. Ran out of ammo during WAVE 9. Not much time to set up defensive position with turrets. Turrets cost money which you earn as you destroy monsters. Game does have a decent but basic tutoral that needs more depth. Needs to explain about acquiring ammo. Turrets need to be a much more durable since a rat bite destroys them??? This tragic defeat was on lowest difficulty and mission one. After 20+ years of gaming and a library of thousands of games for PC, PS, XBOX, etc, I have only two positive things to say about this game: Game has decent graphics and ran smoothly. I RECOMMEND YOU BUY THIS GAME FOR SOMEONE YOU HATE, AND GIFT IT TO THEM! Please note that this is a Beta and need tons of work make game interesting and enjoyable. Not recommended at this time for playing but may be worth future consideration!
FPS + TD相结合的游戏 整体质量差,射击部分手感很差;塔防部分不知道路线,没有具体效果
Warning: Asset Flip! LAST WAR 2044 is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of generic Unity FPS assets and dumped them onto a very basic template... the only differentiator is they ripped off someone else's object building/placement bits before abandoning this, taking the money and running. After paying off the Russian review farm. It has no value or merit as a real game. It's also abandoned Early Access. I mean, can it get any better than this? An asset flip, and Early Access abuse! And the answer is, YES. They got fake/paid reviews, too. The unholy trifecta of abusing Steam for profit at the expense of gamers, developers, and, hell, everyone. What a time to be alive. This asset flip was abandoned roughly 3 months after launch and hasn't been updated in 5 years. It blew past the developers commitment to complete the game without any notification or admission of failure from the developer. The game will never be completed. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game assets are far from bleeding edge, with lowish polygon counts and somewhat low resolution textures, making this look like it's at least 10 years old. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks poor in comparison to more professionally produced games as a result of their decisions. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Unethically, the developer sold keys to this abandoned Early Access game into cheap, nasty game bundles, where they knew it would be advertised and sold as a complete PC game. This seems to have been done in an attempt to mislead gamers into buying a knowingly faulty, defective and incomplete product. When a developer does this for a game they have zero practical intention of completing, this is essentially a scam, an intention to get paid for a broken/unfinished product. Often this is done as an exit strategy, as the developer takes the money and runs. No refunds have been given, the developer kept all the money they took from gamers. Another unethical act of this developer, knowing full well that this game is abandoned and they will never complete it, they are deliberately trying to scam gamers into buying it by offering it on discount and selling keys to the game from third party key resellers. It's impossible to "accidentally" discount a game. The developer looked at their abandoned game, and instead of doing the right thing and removing it from Steam, they instead doubled-down and tried to scam even more people into paying for it. Greedy, and completely unethical. Doing the wrong thing, on purpose, for money. This is not okay.
Warning: Review Manipulation! This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product.
This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? LAST WAR 2044 is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
vuruş hissi görüntü kalitesi herşey çok kötü 6 senedir erken erişimde çıkmaz da bu gidişle zaten sarmaz optimz. sorunları da vdar
Great Tunnel defense game style. Made it to wave 20 before getting cocky exploring the side routes. mind you i only used 4 turrets all T190's. just gotta keep up filling ammo. Do the little help mission it gives you once you start since it gives the basics. You will find ammo if you hunt down the tunnles. Mind you when you pick up ammo for either a side arm or a Rifle any ammo you get while its on you stays with that gun. so if you find one you like better all that ammo sticks with that gun you just dropped. All in all i had fun though watch out for them fast critters. XD
