Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.13/day in the week to Jul 21 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Decent art, great atmosphere, overall fun gameplay experience

So I got this game as a gift and I just finished it and I must say it left an impact, now If you are fan of games where you can upgrade your tools / base of operations throughout your gameplay along with periodic RTS elements for the mission in the game, then I think Last Train Home might be the one for you. To start I was never really invested into Russian history, as its never been my kind of go to when I am looking to learn something, how ever this game told it to me so well that I became invested in the world around me as I moved from area to area. So much so that when I had to make a choice I noticed the impact later down the line as my men, and resource situation became much more dire as I progressed. Leaving me more invested in the world around me and the story this game had to tell. Now the gameplay is fairly solid, you manage men when in a mission like you would in a RTS, and when you are out of the missions traveling the land of Russia, you are working around resource management to make sure you can take care of your men and feed them all the while upgrading your train so that you can survive the cold winters of Siberia. While out in the land of Russia you can also send out expeditions to look at resource locations, abandoned towns, forest areas and city's to trade with, just keep in mind these towns even might be influenced by your choice's prior and will not trade with you otherwise or will try to attack your expedition leaving you always in a battle with figuring out what you need to do. This kind of game where your choices matter and how you chose to handle situations will affect your story and who wants to be your ally, makes me love this game a lot. Along with the requirement of constantly needing to upgrading your base of operations not just for better boost or production but to keep your men from just dying along the way makes it so much more stressful when the winter cold hits and having men to fight in the challenging As such I give this game a 9/10 review, the gameplay as mentioned is very solid, it doesn't try to be something that its not, and you are not just worrying here and there, you are worrying the entire time about the well being of your men as you can only bring back so many with what you have available, going through area to area, while keeping to its same formula every step of the way. Oh and also to me, this game is a gem because there are not many games out here like this one, where development is crucial and the well being of your people are vital to be able to make it through the game. So maybe I am biased but I love games like this!!!
Bland, repetitive and boring game with a too simplistic view on actual historical events. Definitely not the greatest example of the genre, to say the least.
6/10 Its good but sometimes less is more. First the good. The setting is great, Very well done graphics, Managing the train is fun, Having the option to skip missions is a godsend, The missions are fun and inventive for the most part, The bad. A lot of the mechnics are poorly thought out. Running out of ammo in an RTS is just stupid. You can run into situations where your 10+ hour run is soft locked as you have no ammo to go on missions. Worse still ammo takes up space on your train so sometime you cant build more ammo as you have no where to store it. The missions are good but the cover system seems an after thought. The levels don't seem to have enough cover near key objectives so you just stand out in the open. flanking enemies as well doesn't seem to work as your soilders take too much damage when they move. Scotting missions outside the train gets really old really quickly. Result its a good game but one that your going to have to save scum your way through when the mechanics trip over themselves. I really hope they make a sequel as this could be really good with a few tweaks.
Gameplay is fun, company of heroes like. Narrative is too bias. I was hoping for a group of soldiers trying anything to go home, fighting behind enemy lines and just be human. Instead it's too nationalistic, too bias on one side where you are fighting as a group who really shouldn't care about any side, be it white or red Russian. It's okay, might return later but man the nationalistic narrative is almost C&C red alert 3 ish.
