Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was quite sceptical when buying it on sale. As I am not a fan of this kind of games I was not expecting anything much of it and for people like me I think it is worth the money on sale but not your time. Although some levels were challenging, the gameplay was all the game offers due to the resolution bug. It causes the game to work only in windowed mode in which you can barely see any text, so don't expect to get anything from the story.
Super!
Last Resort Island is a colorful and imaginative puzzle adventure developed and published by rokaplay that blends match-3 mechanics with light city-building elements and an eccentric narrative twist. Rather than presenting itself as a straightforward tile-matching game, it layers its puzzles within a whimsical island survival story filled with oddball humor and exaggerated scenarios. The result is a casual yet surprisingly varied experience that manages to feel more expansive than its genre roots might initially suggest. The central gameplay revolves around classic match-3 mechanics: players swap adjacent tiles to form rows or columns of three or more identical pieces, clearing them from the board and progressing toward specific level objectives. However, Last Resort Island avoids stagnation by steadily introducing new mechanics. Some levels require clearing obstructive tiles, collecting specific items, or navigating around blockers that restrict movement. As the campaign unfolds, puzzle layouts grow more complex, demanding thoughtful planning rather than simple reactive matching. Limited moves per level introduce an additional strategic layer, encouraging players to think several steps ahead to avoid running out of turns before objectives are met. What gives the game its distinct personality is the narrative framing. The story begins with the player character shipwrecked on an island that is anything but peaceful. The island’s inhabitants, transformed by bizarre circumstances involving mutant tofu and sugar-fueled chaos, add a surreal comedic tone to the proceedings. Dialogue exchanges are playful and self-aware, preventing the experience from taking itself too seriously. This narrative thread ties directly into gameplay progression, as completing puzzle levels contributes to rebuilding and revitalizing the island’s infrastructure. The island-building component acts as a secondary progression system. Completing match-3 challenges rewards currency that can be invested in constructing and upgrading buildings around the settlement. From town halls to confectionery workshops and other whimsical structures, each addition visually transforms the island and reinforces a sense of development. While the building mechanics are not deeply strategic compared to dedicated simulation games, they provide meaningful context for the puzzles. Rather than simply clearing levels for abstract points, players feel like they are actively restoring and expanding a quirky community. Beyond the main campaign, Last Resort Island introduces additional modes and mini-games that diversify the experience. These include card-based challenges, logic puzzles, and jigsaw-style brain teasers that break up the match-3 rhythm. These side activities not only extend playtime but also demonstrate the developer’s effort to create a multifaceted package rather than a single-loop puzzle game. The variety helps prevent fatigue, offering players alternative mental challenges between more demanding tile-matching stages. Visually, the game adopts a vibrant and cartoonish aesthetic. The island environments are bright and inviting, with exaggerated character designs that enhance the comedic tone. The tile graphics are clear and readable, ensuring that even busy boards remain easy to interpret. Sound design and music maintain an upbeat atmosphere, complementing the playful narrative. The presentation feels cohesive, with every visual and audio element reinforcing the game’s lighthearted identity. Difficulty progression is handled thoughtfully, with multiple settings available to accommodate different skill levels. Early stages ease players into the mechanics, while later levels introduce tighter move limits and more intricate board configurations. This scaling ensures accessibility for newcomers while offering a satisfying challenge for experienced match-3 players. Although certain power-ups and mechanics may feel somewhat restrictive compared to more elaborate puzzle titles, the balance generally leans toward fairness and consistency. Ultimately, Last Resort Island succeeds by combining familiar match-3 gameplay with enough additional layers to keep it engaging. Its humorous storyline, island-building progression, and diverse mini-games create a sense of purpose beyond simple tile clearing. While it does not aim for the depth of hardcore puzzle or simulation titles, it delivers a polished and charming package that stands out within the casual genre. For players seeking a light yet varied puzzle experience infused with personality and creativity, Last Resort Island offers a satisfying and entertaining escape. Rating: 7/10
One of the best casual games I have ever played. Combines typical three-of-a kind game with solitaire and puzzle.
