Fun and functional open-world game but also a project of cultural preservation. I am from the area the game is based on and can give high praise to the efforts of the dev team. Wonderful description of central Finland in early 90s.
On paper, Last drop ticks lots of boxes of what I like, so super excited to see how this game is gonna turn out. Sadly on its current state, I can't recommend it. Graphics are far from decent, even some 2002 games look better imo. It lacks consistency, some aspects are detailed and some are blocky, blurry mess. Color scheme is somewhat off. Physics and some game mechanics also feel unfinished. In theory I like Last drop, but theres lots of work to do before i can call this game Finnished.

Sain pelin hieman ennen julkaisua ja olen päässyt pelailemaan enemmänkin, tässä pelissä on potentiaalia ja vaikuttaa erittäin mielenkiintoiselta. Suosittelen ! :)
AVOID BUYING THIS GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never been so embarrassed of something that has been made in my dear homeland. 1. The graphics are somehow worse than in GTA: san andreas AND this was released in 2026: Textures aren't polished at all. The Lada 2107s look like they've just been driven outside the dealership and are made out of plastic and rubber. Trees look like they're full of spikes. When I was playing it I saw four npcs that had the same skin AT THE SAME TIME and speaking of characters, the main quest characters would make you terrified if you saw them anywhere else than a free amateur community wax gallery. I would imagine that there is better-looking texture packs FOR Free Although Indie studios usually have extraordinarily low budgets and I am not the most accurate graphics enthusiast in the world, I know at least three guys who would make better graphics alone in an infernal hangover. They have tried to make great voicelines, but they've failed miserably. They are too "tekemällä tehty" to improve the game. 2. Optimization so poor that it makes all new games laugh. Terrible optimization may be called the cancer of modern game development and this is one of the many. I thought that Release-day Half-sword had bad optimization until I saw this crap. Barely 30fps on RTX 3060 12gb edition. Fix your game I beg you. 3. Price is too salty for the content: I could literally go behind the old Siwa and pickup empty bottles for free, I am probably going to fight with my brother when he read this for free, I could think about writing a book without having an annoying narrative and without never completing it for free Honourable mentions: I could feel the AI use while playing the game For short: This is bad the same way Fingerpori the movie is bad. I am going to refund it right now and I advice you to do the same while you can.
There's potential! But so much to improve. Proper controller support for start and the ability to rebind keys. Get rid of the stamina bar and give us an minimap. The minimap can be hand drawn ♥♥♥♥ map, but just make it proper GTA map with legends and ♥♥♥♥. The Tekken style fighting is also pretty meh :D Id prefer GTA styled smackdown. Keep working on it! This game might be great slop to run through the new DLLS5
Works very well in Cachyos Linux. no problems at all. Game has some bugs, but it funny to play.
After MSC and Finnish Cottage Simulator, I finally feel "home". I was grown in a finnish suburb in 90's, and this game nails that atmosphere so accurately it’s almost unsettling. The environmental storytelling is packed with authentic details—from familiar-looking grocery packaging and beat-up daily drivers to the distinctive aesthetic of a 90s lähiö (suburb). Weathered concrete facades, linoleum floors, sandboxes behind the parking lot, and the local ostari serve as the backdrop to an era defined by a lingering recession, cheap beer, and raw Finnish grit. What makes the atmosphere so strikingly authentic is the setting: it captures that exact era when many of the "new" 90s suburbs were still actively under construction. The half-finished element houses, gravel pathways cutting across muddy building sites, and scattered construction fences blend seamlessly with the older grey concrete blocks. The shadow of the early 90s recession (lama) isn't just background lore—it’s baked into the street chatter, the strained tone of everyday conversations, and the overall frugal survival mindset of the neighborhood.
The setting seems interesting, it was cool seeing old photos of Seppo and his friends and it really got me excited about whats going to happen in the story but why am I picking up bottles during the 2 hour refund window? I can't force myself into thinking "surely the gameplay will get better!"
