By now minimal graphics are used almost everywhere, but all in all here they are put to good use. The game is simple and intuitive. The ending doesn't exist and the game suddenly closed.5/10. It can be done much better.

"Last Dawn" is a short pointless asset flip, a simple walking sim where you walk through an asset flipped low poly forest and avoid some stuff, find 5 generators and yeah, that's it. Looks bad, plays worse, next to no content. Waste of time. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Gave me a feeling of a project someone started then gave up on and just put in a simple ending. it looks ok and is small in size but just left me feeling empty kinda like staring at a wall for 15min except for the npc was creepy and the ending that was meh. I gice it a 2/5 because it was free and did not waste to much my time.
Although this game is short and simple, I enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely give it a try! And it looks great!
Last Dawn, 2082 yılında geçen kısa bir birinci şahıs atmosferik keşif oyunudur.
This is one of the shortest games I've ever played. At only 15 to 20 minutes long, this should be labelled as a Demo, not a complete game. And it's not even really a game. It's actually just a Walking Sim. It has minimalist, low-poly graphics. And best of all, it's free. The controls are about as simple as they can be. Movement is the standard 'W/A/S/D' keys (+ 'Left Shift' to run), and deactivating a terminal is 'Left Mouse Button'. Move the mouse to look around. Some soft music plays in the background. You start out at the location of your crashed ship. It's currently a cold winter night, and it's snowing. You're in a small valley, surrounded by mountains which you can't climb, so it's impossible to get lost. You can see a city on the top of the mountains, but you can only move around this small valley area. You have to find 5 terminals/generators, and they are very easy to find because they each have a red light at the top of an antenna tower. Thus, just scan around and look for a circle of red light coming through the trees or coming over a hill. When you see one, head towards it. When you get to one of the terminals, click on it to deactivate it. After you deactivate all 5 terminals, this massive 2-story high metal-looking gate (which you may or may not have already found) will open so that you can escape through it. While you are moving around, you must avoid the android guards. They are easy to spot in the dark because they look like people walking around with big bright flashlights. That's all there is to this game. Great concept, but not much effort put into it.
It's a wonderful game! Simple and easy in following the objectives (and gives a nice throwback to the old Slender Eight Pages game). Having little visual queues also helps you know what you have to do. The environment is gorgeous and timeless in its style; reminds me a bit of Firewatch or Long Dark! :)
So, personally I was expecting more of the game because the preview made it look really cool. The game boots up and you are met with a voice telling you to 'Find a way out'. As you mindlessly find all the 5 Generators (dont know how to name these machines) you might also come across one of the robots (the enemies apparently) who make siren head sounds. Yes you read that right. Upon finishing the game, you are surprised with nothing. WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD: You hear a gunshot and a realistic 'Oh no!'. The game ends with an abrupt black screen. In conclusion: If you like Walking Simulators, go ahead.
No.
