I love this game. I think it does a lot of things differently and better. My favourite thing is the combat system. I am generally horrible at combat in games, but with this one I feel like I actually have a shot at completing the higher level dungeon. I love the achievements with the little rewards, love the minigames, the character name puns, that there is a love and hate meter on the friendships.... I don't know. This game is great. I'm really enjoying it. I don't think there's one part of it where I'm like " i wish they'd done that differently " It has a lot of content!
很好玩也很耐玩,非常喜欢,希望官方后面能把汉化细化一下,机翻真的很无力,不过这也完全不影响他的好玩!
Kynseed is a fun game with a variety of activities for players to do and an interesting storyline. I particularly enjoy the mini-games involved in crafting, cooking, etc.; it makes them more engaging than in other games. I really enjoy being able to set schedules for my spouse and children as well, it's a lot of fun. My only sort-of complaint is that, as someone who uses the arrow keys to move rather than the traditional W A S D, it annoys me that the arrow keys don't work in combat situations, and so when it's dire, I'm also fumbling with keys I don't normally use.
This might be my favorite game of all time.
Honestly I have never fallen in love with a game like this. There is so much to do and the map is pretty big giving you endless options to choose from. It seems like there is no wrong way to go about this game. The only issue I have is that I didn't know about this game sooner. The combat is really easy to get the hang of, also cooking and crafting weapons as well. Like I stated before there is so much to do and for how long I've played; I feel like I've barely even begun to scratch the surface. I hope everyone give it a chance like I did!
As addictive as Stardew Valley, but you don't have to sleep, so there's no clean end of day. The days just blur into each other and before you know it, you don't have to sleep in real life either and you realize you would happily trade a few years of your life with a Fae to make life a bit easier.
So, Kynseed is not exactly a bad game, but it is a bland one that do not deliver on the promise of an adventure over multiple generations. You get everything done before the end of the second in-game year easily, before your kids are old enough to even consider as successor or could have trained enough to be a real step up from your original character. And even then, the world kind of forget that you're the child, not the original character ! To me, the game would be vastly better if time passed, like, 10 times quicker - you would probably get to go through a couple generations to reach the goal, with kids being gradually stronger and able to tackle harder stuff. The game should be more honest with your options - there is no realistical way to avoid fighting in dungeons, but you can be very hands off with the rest - so basically, any choice that makes you a worse fighter is akin to picking hard mode. With what's in there, you can have fun if you want a clunky Stardew Valley with a bit more tactics in your combat and an overarching story; but manage your expectations.
Take your time to learn and read everything. Unsure why a previous review mentioned constant jokes about poop but I've yet to find many. The characters are very tongue-in-cheek! Still finding my way through but really enjoying the jump in and out aspect! I would reccomend having a notebook though!
Love the humor and storybook-ish vibes. The lore is good and there's a lot to read contributing to it, which is pretty cool. Was pleasantly surprised to find a BTS easter egg. There's a lot to do which may feel a bit overwhelming at times, but I enjoy the variety it brings. I can spend a day exploring and foraging, or farming, or befriending people, or running shops, and so on. The mini games are pretty nice too, not too difficult but not easy enough that they feel meaningless. I guess a minor complaint would be the character visuals, but honestly you get used to it after playing for a while and stop caring about it.
