IndieGems Curator
Saturday Morning Cartoon Management
This is a cooking management game with a kid friendly cartoon vibe going for it. The gameplay starts out simple enough and continues to increase in difficulty as the game goes along. This would be a great game to play with your child as they would probably want to either try it out themselves or be quick to try to tell you whats needed. The colorful and cartoony world is also a plus. The game starts out simple enough. You have a few machines you click to make various foods. Different color buttons on the machine corresponds to the type of food it will spawn. As you are doing this a customer is waiting at the end of a conveyor belt thinking about their desired order. It is your job to make the food; throw it on a tray and click it to send it down the belt. Each stage you have a money goal you have to hit. You get money by completing orders without mistakes, giving toys, and chaining orders. As I got further in the game is where I started to hit some issues with the difficulty.
Replay To Get Better?
This game has a particular replay model I don't really like. On each stage you can buy one upgrade and only one upgrade; even if you have the money to buy more with the unlocked parts. The upgrades are static to that level. So if I were stuck on level 18 and I wanted to try to go back and play an earlier stage such as 12 to earn more money and upgrade parts; when playing stage 12 I will only have the parts I had unlocked at stage 12. Replaying a stage you are stuck on means you get to choose a different upgrade; but I haven't noticed much of a difference in the money earning of parts. I'm currently stuck on level 25 and it may just be my fault for choosing incorrect upgrades throughout the game or not being quick enough. Either way I would prefer to be able to replay or build from my failed missions instead of loading a sort of save state from right before that failed mission on every attempt. Despite being stuck I'm still having a pretty good time with this game. It's no overcooked or cook serve delicious as far as fun indie cooking management games; but there is still a good amount of tlc that went into this project as far as the whimsical characters, cartoony animations, and building gameplay. If you enjoy management games check it out and keep an eye on it. It may suffer from a few balancing issues late game but it is still fun.
Please see my curator page for more games that are worth your time
Info Game: This is a time management game in which you try to serve the customers as quick as possible. Your manager doesn't sell enough kitchen machines for spaceships because there aren't enough space cooks. That's where you come in to begin as a space cook and sell more and more dishes so you can afford to buy the machines from your manager. Info achievements: All the achievements are story related and unmissable, but the game is not easy to beat. In a quick pace the difficulty goes up and for the story you'll have to get gold rating on every level at one point. To beat the levels it is not that hard most of the time, that gold rating is getting hard very quickly (or I just really suck at this game :P) Pros & Cons: + fun gameplay + no missable achievements - the difficulty gets hard pretty quick, get those golden ratings isn't easy
Really fun and fast paced! I would definitely recommend it to people who like this type of game.
I like the game. It is not too tough and not too easy. The graphic also is pretty cute and smooth. Very cartoonish
This is alright. It's not rage inducing. But... You have to appreciate the cartoon humor. It wasn't for me, and yet, that doesn't mean I wasn't able to enjoy the game. I also liked the hilarious ways the customers walked up to the ordering station and the floofy balls on the ground when the enemies attacked. I think it's okay, especially for some nights of casual fun.
Challenging game. Would recommend.
The game worked the first time I booted it up, but after I closed it, the game would no longer work after trying to start/open it again. Re-installing didn't work either! I do like this game, but I can't recommend a game when I can't even play it properly. It is a fun point & click restaurant game, ramping difficulty as you get more upgraded food machines and more complex orders. Played the free/demo version on coolmath back in school, so the nostalgia lead me here. It's indeed builds on the demo, but I was unable to get very far before the game stopped working for me.
Very great game , loved it , use to play kuckoo kitchen all the time and now it has new machines i needed to donwload this to try it out , its different to other cooking games, a very challenging and fast , im using a touchscreen laptop for faster taps and still cant complete some of mission.
I played the demo of this game on coolmathgames.com a lot as a kid, and I LOVED it. Still do, really. The gameplay is the game's strongsuit. You'd have to be ok with REALLY fast-paced gameplay, though, which happens to be my thing. But if you want to get a Golden Fork(basically this game's version of three stars) on a level, you literally can't hesitate for half a second. It can be difficult, but it's fun! Like REALLY fun. All the little machines that make the food are really creative! The only real complaint I have happens in the cutscenes, which you can skip with a click anyway. There are cutscenes where two characters are standing across from each other, the camera is focused on Person A, and when it's Person B's turn to talk, the camera has to pan over to Person B. It's just... the panning movement is noticeably slow. Like "awkward pause" slow. It definitely takes away from some of the cutscenes, but there are people out there who might find its awkwardness funny, really. Ultimately, it's harmless. All in all, it's a really fun game! I'd say it's worth the price.
Jogo divertidíssimo, com animações excelentes e serve como um ótimo passa-tempo, além de proporcionar um grande desafio.
