Kuchisake Onna - 口裂け女

Naprawdę średnia gra. Brzydka grafika, od której może się zrobić niedobrze, historia Kuchisake Onny jest bardzo ciekawa i mogłaby być opisana w fantastyczny sposób, tutaj jednak, wszystko jest jakieś niedopracowane i bardziej denerwujące niż straszne. Nie polecam.

Everything about this game is horribly uninspired - the puzzles, the spirit chasing you, and not to mention the map design which makes being chased by a ghost a horrible experience with no upsides whatsoever. I had to stop playing this game early into it because of all these reasons, but the straw that broke the camel's back was the fact that the first interaction with the spirit in question ruined what little immersion I had left. I found myself being chased back into a tiny room with little space to navigate to get around the spirit. Not only that, but the spirit is unceremoniously dumped onto you; there is no well-crafted introduction to the monster at all. It just appears out of thin air while you're walking down a hallway. Back to the lack of immersion, I've found that the puzzles before hand being so poor contributed to that, but so did the notes describing a boring plot about obtaining immortality that had absolutely no narrative hook or personality. It's for these reasons that I hope to get a refund on this game, even though it's only three dollars, I feel like I have more self-respect than to let this slide, so I want my money back. If you do decide, anyway, to play this horror game merely because it's an example of a bad horror game - been there, done that, and you should absolutely skip this one if that's the case. I've intentionally played bad horror games before because it can be fun, in a comedic sense, but this game isn't that. It's less than a chore; it's a completely bland experience.

For only being a 30-minute long game, I spent 30-minutes trying to get past the 2nd phase. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do sooooooo I'll come back to it later when I'm drunk. Maybe drunk me will understand what to do. Also, that one key (you know which one I'm talking about, the tree one) sucks. The game is certainly spooky but the controls are a little wonky. Also not entirely sure what I'm doing.... lol
