KONA is a mystery detective walking simulator with really just a few survival elements. The visuals really emphasize the atmosphere of the 70s, and the soundtrack never gets annoying. Like any good detective game, the story keeps you hooked with its mystery and all those secrets you can uncover along your journey.

The traveling can get tedious, especially since in-game you aren't given much to track what you're supposed to do, but overall a good game. The music is pretty good too.

It kept me engaged, as a Mystery Movie would, as you unravel things. I usually don't read through notes in games, but this game's atmosphere and tension made me (the sound design and snow effects play into this, and when it goes into night, it picks up a notch). It's weird you hardly run into any NPCs that actually speak, and the narration isn't annoying and actually helps the game in the quiet moments, which is a lot of the game. Don't expect any action; it's super chilled, and the story ain't crazy good, but it had decent pacing and didn't overstay its welcome. N.B.: Only buy at a steep discount, as the game is very short. You can get more out of it by exploring more, but the story in a nutshell is very short

A chill detective game that is a bit scary but has no jump scares. It´s a bit of walking simulator (and partly car driving) but it´s intuitive enough that you don´t need to visit the same locations many times. It has a few things that could be done better or differently in my opinion, but overall it´s solid - interesting, nice music, memorable atmosphere, clear fates of all characters. Some people are saying that the ending was rushed. I didn´t feel it like that. I felt like I explored enough before the ending and the conclusion was interesting (I don´t want to be more specific to avoid spoilers).
