Becomes too repetitive. Ran into a huge difficulty spike and the grind just didn't feel interesting.
It has it's charm and wit, but overall the experience gets too grindy midgame.
Really fun little game with very thoughtful systems and engaging mechanics, a must-have for those looking to make their own games and TTRPG fans alike. I can see where Darkest Dungeon, one of my favourite games, got certain ideas from. It does get grindy (and sometimes infuriating) after some hours, but it's nothing that (TT)RPG and Darkest Dungeon fans aren't used to. I had this game on my wishlist for 11 years, so I'd say it was worth the wait.
If you like D&D and don't have a campaign to be apart of this is the perfect game for you. I loved how long I can play the game for. I also love the replayability of the game.
