Kingdom of the Dragon

Wow, what a great surprise. Kingdom of the Dragon is something of a metroidvania with a strong Dark Souls vibe to it. The combat may be simplistic but doesn't lack a certain finesse to it, and I loved the exploration and general atmosphere of the game. Couldn't put it down, even after being quite stuck during a couple of occasions. Would love to see more games from the developer.

旧バージョンの第三の島の途中までプレイしていましたが、新バージョンになって改めて最後までプレイしました。 　世界観はオープニングとエンディングのイントロ、そして各所で拝読できるいくつかの本と断片的な情報でしか描写されてません。しかし裏を返せば英語の読解力はあまり必要としませんし、英語が読めなくともソウルライクな暗黒時代の西洋を彷彿させた世界観を感じます。 　グラフィック、サウンドは確かにチープで同系統のゲームと比べても見劣りするところはあります(プレイヤーキャラはドットですが非常にぬるぬると動きます)が手抜きを感じるようなところは無く、むしろチープなデザインの中にあっても製作者の表現したい演出がしっかりと落とし込めてるように感じます。 　操作性は旧バージョンではかなり悪かったですが、現バージョンでは問題点の多くが解消され、だいぶ良好な操作性になってます。アクションは意外に豊富でどのアクションもあるだけのものではなく役に立つ局面がお披露目イベント以外にも必ず存在します。(旧バージョンに存在した空中ローリング中に攻撃でキャンセルして着地した後またすぐに空中ローリングを繰り返すと、一方向に加速していくという面白い挙動は現在では修正されています) 　ボリュームは4～6時間といったところで上手い人なら2時間以内でクリアできると思います。極端に頭をひねるような謎解きも高等テクニックが必要な局面は存在せず同系統のゲームの中では簡単な部類に入ると思います。但し2段ジャンプ習得以降はジャンプとチェーンを多用する場所は多々あります。 　問題点としては他のレビューでも書いてあるかもしれませんがオプション設定が存在せず、キーコンフィグはおろかフルスクリーン、音量固定という仕様になっているのは昨今のゲームでは逆に珍しいぐらい不便です。後最初に入手するチェーンフックの使い方が独特で馴れないと混乱します。 　総評として旧バージョンでは意欲的なところが見られるものの作りこみの甘さが目立ち値段もデザインとボリュームに比べ高いという印象が強くありましたが、現バージョンでは問題点が多く解消され、値段も相応額に安くなりました。グラフィックこそ安っぽいですが、製作者が演出、表現したい所と熱意が十分に感じられる佳作といえます。

Fun little side-scroller, has some minor technical issues (expected with such a new developer). Few expoits that can give you unfair advantages, but overall a captivating atmosphere and asthetic. 8/10

RPG Raíz, simples assim.

На удивление хорошая игра. Не без минусов, но игра хорошая. Исследовать мир было интересно. Куда бы не пришел везде наталкиваешься на развилки. Встречаются и небольшие пазлы и интересные локации. Несмотря на то, что мир пустоват, я с удовольствием по нему побродил. Когда-то взял на сдачу за копейки и ни разу не пожалел.

Un tuffo nel passato, un platform, una avventura e un costante senso di essere perduti in una terra ostile. Superati i primi minuti piuttosto noiosi la sfida entra nel vivo e il vostro viaggio inizia. Non per tutti ma solo per pochi avventurosi guerrieri.

This is a cool game. I like it a lot. Not too hard, but a nice challenge. Nice exploration game with beautiful art design. You could stand still whilst looking around just to soak in the scenery. Lots of different locations, and the natural sound effects set the mood. Not really a metroidvania or a dark souls clone, just a pretty game where you are a knight exploring all the islands and finding power ups to help you progress farther into the game.

Fun game, BUT, to be honest it need more "help", I mean, for the user, so far I can´t find the shield also there is no option to see a World map or some kind of guide.IF some one have a guide post it. ********Update*********** The game have good things and bad things. Good things: * Have a good hack & slash system * Nice graphics (for pixel art) * The history it´s good, clasic but good * It´s a big game for a plataform kind * The world have a good size for explore Bad things: * It could be nice have more options in the armors * Need more weapons ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Excellent work. I hope to see a part 2 and multiplayer mode, where you can invite a friend to play with you.
