Huge fan of the series. I was really excited to play these again on the PC and slowly work towards that glorious 100% achieve status Unfortunately it appears that this port is plagued with crashes. I've done what I can on my end, disabled refresh, locked FPS to 60, added the .exe into the nvidia app directly, and still get frequent crashes. I'm not sure what is going on here but it seems like this is widely commented on for quite some time. I'll keep trying to play the game, bit by bit, and this review will change if/when they address the crashes. But for now I cannot recommend this port.

Cool premise. Love the characters and kicking ass with Goofy, Donald, and others. But Kingdom Hearts 1.5 is one of the least fun games I've ever played. You should play this game if you like games that aren't fun like Dark Souls. I spend half my time wandering around with no idea where to go. The whole under the sea level is just not fun. Ursala as a boss makes me want to tear my hair out. Overall, hard to recommend.

Kingdom Hearts is an Action Adventure Final Fantasy game that is at its core very well done, with good to great gameplay, given the landlord special from Disney. Intricate detailing has a massive coat of paint over the top of it, an amazing core story is bogged down with 12 Disney micro stories that boil down to "what if we retold a Disney movie with a few details changed to add sora and the gang" even in the parts of the game where they're telling whole new stories in the same settings it feels a need to call back to the movies as much as possible. The only thing i know about KH3 is there is the entire "let it go" scene from frozen, with Sora, Donald, and Goofy just awkwardly standing in the background, raising my point yet again. Kingdom Hearts is 'member berries.
