Grab your bike, pedal off and beat back the Greed to save your town. Kingdom Eighties is a story-based tower defense spin-off to the award-winning Kingdom series set in the ‘80s. This is a singleplayer and local co-op (or online co-op via Steam Remote Play Together) adventure with base building and strategy elements, rad aesthetics and a soundtrack inspired by the sweet synth tunes of the ‘80s.
Something disturbing has broken free from the shadows and it's up to you as The Leader to drive the evil back by recruiting your friends and other kids from the neighborhood. Together you will build your defenses and protect the town from the relentless attacks by the mysterious Greed monsters that are trying to steal your family heirloom, the Crown of Creation. For what nefarious purposes, who knows?
Gather your three unique companions, each with special skills, and recruit other kids to build defenses, collect coins and… run a lemonade stand and a pizza shop (among many other things)! Manage the people you recruit, unlock tools and more importantly gear your crew up for the horrors that come at night.
A force, dormant for centuries, has somehow broken free in the ‘80s; Kingdom Eighties is a comic-sized story about the small town Monarch that has come under threat by an unknown evil. It has fallen upon you, as The Leader, to defend it and save the day. Rally the Summer Camp when an evil force of goopy Greed monsters attack and try to break your defenses. Where did they come from and where the heck are all the adults? Uncover clues and discover what happened to everybody else as you repel and fight the Greed back.
Kingdom's iconic, handcrafted art style is back, now with a neon touch coming directly from the ‘80s aesthetics. Chill and vibe with the synthy OST from Andreas Hald, and travel back to the wonder days of bike riding and summer camps, when everything seemed possible.
In the true arcade style, Kingdom Eighties features a new game mode: Survival Mixtapes! Bring your best tactics and strategies to fend off progressively harder waves of Greed in four different episodes including “Back to the Suburbs” and “Greed, First Goo”. Make on-the-fly decisions as certain buildings’ special abilities are disabled and levels feature random mounts. This game mode is sure to put your skills to the test!

跟前作对比起来更简单，上手难度超低，不过剧情非常短，可玩性也更低，没接触过王国系列可以从这一部开始，价格方面，我只能说20块钱左右合适
У этой игры одна проблема - она слишком простая. Однако, эта часть является достойным продолжением серии Киндом. Новая тематика отлично легла на уже устоявшиеся шаблоны внутриигровых механик Фури студиос. Это старый добрый киндом, но в совершенно новой обложке.

Przyjemna gierka na relaksik
Fini Kingdom Eighties (une variation années 80 de Kingdom Two Crowns) en six heures. Pour ceux qui connaissent pas la licence Kingdom, ce sont des jeux type tower defense en side-scrolling. Vous commencez au milieu de la carte et des créatures vous attaquent des deux côtés. Il faut les repousser en recrutant des enfants pour construire des structures, chasser et étendre son territoire et accumuler des ressources et des objets de quête. Je ne connaissais cette franchise que de loin. J'ai pris l'épisode des années 80 pour éviter l'énième jeu de fantasy. Le tuto est très léger et il n'y a pas d'indication de quête ou d'objectif autre que les cinématiques. Mais on comprend très vite ce qu'on doit faire via quelques indications visuelles plutôt évidentes. J'ai juste mis un peu de temps à capter la manière de bien gagner des pièces mais une fois que j'ai chopé le coup, il y a une dynamique qui s'est mise en place et le jeu est devenu assez plaisant J'ai passé un bon moment dessus. C'est assez, voire très addictif. L'ambiance années 80 de cinéma/série façon Stranger Things est cool, la musique aussi, c'est fun sans être trop compliqué ni frustrant. Et c'est vraiment très mignon et coloré dans le genre pixel art. Bonne pioche pour moi.

An interesting twist on the Kingdoms campaign. I love this series and i consider it a very addictive and relaxing game. I had a good time going back to this new adventure, i totally recommend it if you like the series. Good music, good pixel art, and i loved the feeling of companionship with the added friends in the story. It's always a good time to come back to Kingdoms from time to time, especially with this new entry. Score: 10/10.
Una auténtica maravilla y de lo más adictivo que te puedas encontrar, me encanta como han enfocado esta versión a un modo historia más lineal y con el estilo no tan medieval, una delicia.

The shortest and possibly most fun (while it lasts) of the Kingdom games! Loved it. Approx. 4-6 hours of 80s goodness.
