Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Grab your bike, pedal off and beat back the Greed to save your town. Kingdom Eighties is a story-based tower defense spin-off to the award-winning Kingdom series set in the ‘80s. This is a singleplayer and local co-op (or online co-op via Steam Remote Play Together) adventure with base building and strategy elements, rad aesthetics and a soundtrack inspired by the sweet synth tunes of the ‘80s.
Something disturbing has broken free from the shadows and it's up to you as The Leader to drive the evil back by recruiting your friends and other kids from the neighborhood. Together you will build your defenses and protect the town from the relentless attacks by the mysterious Greed monsters that are trying to steal your family heirloom, the Crown of Creation. For what nefarious purposes, who knows?
Gather your three unique companions, each with special skills, and recruit other kids to build defenses, collect coins and… run a lemonade stand and a pizza shop (among many other things)! Manage the people you recruit, unlock tools and more importantly gear your crew up for the horrors that come at night.
A force, dormant for centuries, has somehow broken free in the ‘80s; Kingdom Eighties is a comic-sized story about the small town Monarch that has come under threat by an unknown evil. It has fallen upon you, as The Leader, to defend it and save the day. Rally the Summer Camp when an evil force of goopy Greed monsters attack and try to break your defenses. Where did they come from and where the heck are all the adults? Uncover clues and discover what happened to everybody else as you repel and fight the Greed back.
Kingdom's iconic, handcrafted art style is back, now with a neon touch coming directly from the ‘80s aesthetics. Chill and vibe with the synthy OST from Andreas Hald, and travel back to the wonder days of bike riding and summer camps, when everything seemed possible.
In the true arcade style, Kingdom Eighties features a new game mode: Survival Mixtapes! Bring your best tactics and strategies to fend off progressively harder waves of Greed in four different episodes including “Back to the Suburbs” and “Greed, First Goo”. Make on-the-fly decisions as certain buildings’ special abilities are disabled and levels feature random mounts. This game mode is sure to put your skills to the test!
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

So, to cut to the chase, this game was kinda a flat 6/10 for me. It wasn't bad by any means, however I guess I went into it expecting more and for a small game like this, that was definitely the wrong thing to do, but I also wouldn't fault myself for getting my expectations up. So my main grievances with this game are as follows: can't take people between episodes, can't take more than 2 nights/warriors with you while using the dumpster-barrier-thingy, and the wheelies not doing anything on the bikes (nothing major, just a bit odd). I guess there's a few other things like the workers being like weird children which is kinda weird cause like have you ever seen a child try to do like anything with tools before let alone the stuff they do in the game? It's not terrible by any means, just a bit funny/odd although it must be said I only noticed they were children after a couple hours so really nothing major. Another lil thing would be a bit of a lack in new greed variants or like the over use of the 2 new enemies (the big jumbo guys and the small crab spitters); perhaps mixing in like a new flying one or maybe...well, I'm not the best with ideas, but you get the idea I'm sure. A couple things I think would be nice if it was added to the game would be: a way to customise/change what bikes your companions use which could perhaps even change the abilities they do instead of the knock back effect they do when following you, some hermit like system that change change up the functionality of the walls, and perhaps even another class for the workers besides the bowmen or builders or warriors (maybe like music players to boost the damage of people or...well again, bad with new ideas haha). As this game is fairly short (I finished the story in about 8 hours with only a couple mounts not found and portal not destroyed), it's hard not to just write ADD MORE GAME as I do always enjoy these games even though I find it disappointing how quickly you can get through them, so some amazing things that could be added would be like more variations of the robot tower things, some more wall upgrades or camp upgrades, and just more stuff to do generally. This last bit of stuff is not by any means what I seriously expect to be added or would wish to be added as I wouldn't want to compromise the quality of the game for more content, however it would be simply amazing if it were added. I would recommend this game to other kingdom-games-enjoyers however not really to anyone else as it is pretty far from the level of the prior games and just a bit meh really.

good
Just finished it and wow, I have nothing bad to say about it at all, endless references, very 80s and very Kingdom. Great game!
难度较小,有剧情,比原来的两位君主简单,画面更好看了
Amei muito, muito bonito e levemente enjoado mas ainda sim, muito bom.
Um bom jogo de tower defense. A estética é ótima. Para quem já está acostumado com Kindom pode jogar na dificuldade mais difícil sem medo, pois esse é relativamente mais fácil.
just kind of mediocre compared to two crowns. if you are already really into the kingdom series then this is fun, but if you are a newcomer try two crowns instead first.
Not good
jogo bastante divertido com bastante referencias bem diferente do primeiro jogo KINGDOM ele e bem tranquilo na questão do modo normal só ficar de olho nos dois lados senti falta dos voadores mais recomendo bastante jogarem :)
