This is a game. To some extent. There are game mechanics. Somewhat. It has overall consistent visual style, if you exclude fonts out of it. The price of this game is not justifiable at all. Though as a "free demo" it's, well, tolerable.

It's not a very difficult game, but since I bought it from the steam random key, you can buy it if you like nice tactical 2D defense games.

As some have already shown, this is a Unity game using an asset pack that already included all the mechanics/programming this game has. Templates like this are normally for educational purposes, or at most, to use as a starting-off point. In other words, you're paying 9$ for a Unity template someone else had already made. Reminder to never buy random bundles of Steam games.

This game isn't worth buying and here is what I didn't like about it : 1 - 3 Units. In these 12 levels i only get a castle that spawns only one of those : 3 knights, an archer and a wizard. 2 - 3 Enemies, there are goblins with a knife, magic goblin which stuns my units and imps. 3 - Lack of fun 4 - RNG based, so the game doesn't have any target so its random, it can leave an imp 1 shot and after ignore him and shoot some goblins instead. 5 - The upgrades on the archer does not work. 6 - You get 3 lives and if you win with 1 remaining you somehow still lose. You should always watch someone else play before buying a game or just don't play more than 2 hours on it.

thanks for the game, please continue the good works and then combine them into one through use of cosmetic purchases? a single game to run them all :) good days to you and you all sorry for any bother and thanks for your time

Kingdom Defense is a straightforward tower defense game, but it does have some interesting tactical mechanics, such as controlling soldier placements within the radius of barracks and upgrading them for healing. While the game is nothing groundbreaking and can be completed fairly quickly (less than an hour), these mechanics do add some depth. The hard rock music is definitely a standout, providing an unexpected but enjoyable contrast to the typical tower defense soundtrack. The sound effects are also solid. If you're experienced with tower defense games, you’ll find this one fairly easy and can grab a bunch of achievements quickly. It’s a fun little game, but nothing innovative. If you’re only looking for achievements, pick it up on sale or in a bundle.

Absolute crap, that game has pretty much everything that distinguishes a bad tower defense. Archevments that don't come out as planned, a menu that's buggy and sometimes doesn't allow you to choose a level at all. In addition, you cannot select or change the game speed. Furthermore, the selection of the weapon is just bad and the enemy waves overrun you all the time. You can start a level 20 times or more to get through it, even with the help of YouTube. The weapons and the waves are yust poorly matched to each other. For me, this is the worst game I've ever played on Steam. Fun factor 0.1 out of 10. It's just not fun to play, here the developer missed what he actually wanted to achieve. Or he's lined up to torment his customers and spoil their fun at the game.
